Out of the 9 years I have lived in Texas Corsicana City ,I've always enjoyed this college campus , just looking at this place, it's sort of a time capsule of so many faces that have passed ,that have achieved their goals.
Always enjoying listening to the Navarro Jazz Band. Very talented young men and young ladies. Oh, can't forget the Band Directors.
I like teacher named "Dornan". He talking about "power armor" and "the enclave"
Navarro College is a great option for an affordable and accredited education. The campus and facilities are well maintained. The teachers and staff are highly accessible and professional.
The housing staff is horrible, they have put 2 charges on my account and they admitted to not knowing how they got my name however they refused to take it off even when the camera showed I never stayed, 3 weeks later I spoke to Hr for them to remove it and they did it the same day. The other one was removed 2 weeks later after the payment date. I would also recommend you bring in your own food or check it before leaving the dinning hall. I found so much mold and was served under cooked to many times. The drinks apply as well check the ice whole before u get if there is black stuff around it use the other machines.(not sure if they are gonna clean up before the fall but there is also mold in between the soda machines) Not only the dinning side but be careful with the soda/juice in the deli side the they both are spoiled. And check the expiration date of each snack you do choose to take I had 3 month old jello and I still can’t get that’s fussy taste out my mouth. Either side will not hesitate to sell old milk or old food and bunch it all up to be given out on the weekends. There is a wëëd problem at this school as well so be careful because if anyone in your dorm doesn’t it you maybe be accused of doing it as well by the campus police. Not on to the professors, you need to hold some of their hand and walk them three days the grading process. I had 3 professors(1 was in person and the other 2 was online) last semester wait til the end of the semester to grade everyone from my midterms to out introductions at the beginning. For online teachers make sure you double check their comments after they grade and read up on stuff ahead of time so u can message them early because they don’t respond to message in a timely manner. That is all that I’ve experienced in my first year at Navarro College. I hope they get some stuff fixed and be better for the next first years
I completed the cosmetology program at Navarro. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind feet or hard work. It's not a joke . I learned enough that no one even knew I was just starting.
This college has a lot to offer and has an open mind when it comes to career pathways. I just wish the city made the area more college friendly.
Starting out first time students, this is a perfect college to come and attend. The staff and faculties are very well suited to do their jobs properly. The campus has everything you will need for any of the courses you'll be attending. Plenty of students from all over the world come to Navarro to get a better education.
Navarro College was STELLAR! As a former Bulldog, I'm proud to have called this school my home. Professors are knowledgeable and interesting individuals, the staff are all charming and helpful, and the atmosphere of the entire facility is one of safety and growth. Plus, Dr. Fagan (the man in charge of it all) is incredibly personable and makes a point of greeting and interacting with students every chance he gets! I would gladly attend Navarro again if I got the chance!
The staff at the Corsicana campus are very rude. Upon inquiring about something the registrar didn’t know about; she went on to yell at me over the counter while the lobby was full of other students. There are only a handful of instructors that are dedicated and willing to see their students succeed. After all we pay to go there and I believe that the students need to treated with a bit of respect. The Cashiers are generally nice and will help you out.
My eldest daughter & I both went to Navarro & we graduated in 2012 & 2020. We loved attending this school. Navarro is truly a special place! Unlike other colleges where the student is just a number, many of Navarros' professors were …
The teachers and most of the staff are good, but i have great disdain for the housing staff. They seem bothered to deal with you and rarely get anything done. Despite covid being a concern still we have been corralled into small buildings …
Very nice college! The softball fields are always clean. We came here for the hit-a-thon and silent auction, and the hitting facility was aswell clean and nice. We ate there (they cooked) and it was good.
The school isn't bad honestly. I go here and am transferring unless things don't go as planned out of here. The workers are for the most part friendly and helpful, my teachers are chill and honestly it might not be extremely special or unique but it's a little above average.
One of the very best community school in East Texas. Staff very professional and nice
Rude staff! Tried to get into one of their continuing education class, signed up, went to orientation and paid 370$. I showed up to the class with 5 other students and the teacher never showed up!! After that I wanted them to refund me my …
Just got my ged here. Shout out to the ged teacher Oscar Lopez . He wont give up on you . Hes a patient teacher and works to help you succeed ! I was going to quit after failing the pre test . He didnt let me he pushed me to get it and i finally graduated
The staff is very rude, I was miss informed about the class I wanted to take and upon registration they made it seem like I should’ve known they didn’t have the class and they didnt even try to help me or guide me to take similar courses. Point is this school is horrible and I really don’t recommend it.
The planetarium is a must see
This was my son's first year of college. The staff were really professional and helpful. I am very satisfied with this school.
