No Cafeteria and No Bookstore! And I just started my freshman year! At least the professors actually want to teach.

I had one of the worst experiences ever. So I was interested in this college because I had a family member in this school and gave it a go. I signed up for the texts and an advisor named Sharese it was supposed to be a tour but I never got a tour which was weird to me but I didn’t say anything because I figured she later would but eventually she didn’t. She didn’t explain well the whole thing of college. I told her I was interested in majoring Radiology and she sent me to financial aid. Then I signed up for the texts with those people and it was so hard to reach them. They would barley answer and if they did it was not helpful answers. So this made me constantly go. It was a 25 min drive from my house. They asked me what I was majoring in and again I said Radiology and they said great let’s get you going. Then when I had to do the FAFSA my mom couldn’t log in so they offered to print out the forms she has to sign and they mail it to FAFSA. So of course my mom did that and 2 weeks later I get an email from FAFSA saying my deadline is up and I call the college and turns out they “forgot” to mail it. Then they ask me to take the TSI which I did. Right when I get my scores I’m able to pick my classes. I got the email saying I was accepted into the school and everything. Then when I went to check in to set up my classes the lady there with a broken arm or something told me “yeah so we don’t offer that program here. We have it in Gainesville. Is that a deal breaker?” And so this angered me because Gainesville is 1 hour and 37 mins away from me. But NOBODY told me where the program was and I said it multiple times I was majoring in radiology. I found out about this mid August so therefore it was too late for me to start somewhere else because of the deadline. So because of the LACK OF COMMUNICATION of these people, I can’t start college until the spring semester. My honest advise to those who are thinking about going to this school. Don’t. You might as well go somewhere else because there’s absolute NO communication and NO clarity. Also the lady with the broken arm was so rude to me when I told her I don’t see a point in taking dance or drama classes for radiology. I’m not going to do a dance routine on a patient in the future. And she said I HAD to pick.

I've done two full-time semesters here to finish my business-degree basics. This is an amazing place to go. Every professor I have encountered cares that you know what they're teaching, and they have all had extended experience in that field. The classrooms are all well kept and up-to-date with technology that WORKS. The facilities are always clean and organized. It's rare that chairs, desks, projectors, or facilities are broken. The classes are all inexpensive, and they tend to be liberal with granting financial aid. Parking is pretty good. They share a parking lot with offices, so when I come in to my later classes, I've had to park a little farther back, BUT it's never more than a five minute walk. Definitely beats a big Uni's walk across camping. If they offered four year degrees, I would for sure stay to get my Bachelor's here!

My experience at this school has been one of stress, expense, and confusion. Every set of this process has been messy and confusing - from being dropped from classes weeks before they started due to “non-payment” even though I had just enrolled, to their confusing payment plans, to just the expense of the tuition. Every single class has a tuition of about $300, but after all the separate fees and charges, it comes out to like $600. For three classes, I was going to pay $1800, not including books. Then, I transferred to Dallas College. Lo and behold, for three classes, I was paying a grand total of $750, and that’s INCLUDING books! The counselors and advisors are always available to answer questions and are so much more helpful. Everything is so much easier. This NCTC college is a scam, charging “out of district“ rates for a school in flower mound, just because the main campus is in Gainesville. It’s completely insane. Just go to Dallas College and have a way better experience for less than a third of the price. Don’t give your money to this institution.

My kid started going to this school as a starter location from the local high school. My kid had a difficult time registering for classes at this location as the line was long each day she went to do this process. The financial aid that was provided to this location offered her a scholarship that covered her entire first year of classes in full. My kid had additional difficulties trying to figure out the registration system which is all electronic. After everything was said and done my kid is having a decent time at the school.

I just don’t like the fact I cannot get ahold of my instructor. If I’m emailing you Monday through Thursday, or Friday, during your office hours as stated on your syllabus, why am I not getting a response? Had this issue during summer semester and having this issue not even a week in to fall semester… hoping it won’t be like this for the rest of the year.

They're phone number under 8400 is terrible! If you call they'll always say "you've called after campus hours" but I'm calling at 8am in the morning!! So much for being an early bird.

Student services are horrible they never answer the phone and when they do they don't help because they're in such a hurry to get off

Way to many bugs! got a spider in my milkshake! gross!

My friends love it here! Its a great start!
