You know what? I’m still pissed about everything I went through in the VisCom program. It’s not just about bad grades or hard critiques it’s about the constant feeling of being gaslit, minimized, and treated like I was never good enough no matter how hard I tried. I put in the effort, I participated, I showed up, I opened up and what did I get? Professors who couldn’t be bothered to care, peers who stayed silent when I needed support the most, and a toxic culture that seemed more interested in breaking people down than building them up. The branding class was a complete joke. I wasn’t just graded unfairly I was outright dismissed. It didn’t matter what I did because they had already made up their minds about me. I wasn’t “in the mold,” I didn’t play the political game, and I sure as hell wasn’t going to kiss up to people who didn’t see my worth along with everyone else that got screwed over the years.
The worst school to go to they never knowanything. I call weeks before school starts each semester and every semester they say nothing else is needed. Know one can never give me a clear answer as to why I can never get the correct answer information. This is my second master program and I wish I would have picked another school.
I put in an application and they took forever just to tell me I didn’t get it. Dr. Sanders and her team knew who they wanted to hire but instead, had me and potentially others waiting for a prolonged inevitable rejection letter. As an ETAMU alumni, who is now pursuing his masters, this was a very frustrating experience and will not be applying for ETAMU again.
This is by far the most unprofessional school ever. Their rude and ghetto over the phone. No customer service. They have had me running in circles just for trying to enroll in classes. No one return calls or emails. There's a lack of knowledge on their employees side. I sent transcripts that the advisor claims that they haven't been uploaded, but yet I don't have any holds. This school has made me feel discouraged and like I am in a ponzi scheme .
Best campus in Dallas, well equipped classroom and student lounge is an awesome place for discussions and professors are highly knowledgeable and helpful.
Attending this college has been an exceptional experience! The faculty is highly supportive, fostering an enriching learning environment. Overall, I highly recommend this college for those seeking a quality education. Coming to the ambience its on 19th & 20th floor.
Many people would be surprised how many university classes are offered here. For many people, taking classes in Downtown Dallas is very convenient because DART specializes in getting commuters to and from downtown. Texas A&M-Commerce has invested a lot of resources to make this a viable education venue. For example, it runs a shuttle twice a day between this location and its main campus in Commerce, so that students and professors can support ant take advantage of the facilities here.
Cant find a suitable place to rent near A&M-Commerce at Dallas. Any pointers are appreciated!
They are very unprofessional, no one answers phone or is knowledgeable about the school.
Never visited before but can tell nice service.
