Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I have been going here since late last year. My advisor is horrible. She basically setting me to fail. Can’t talk to her without even setting up an appointment and when I finally do get setup she cancels with no explanation. She also expects me to know what classes to take. Oh, and with most of the teachers you have to reach out to them “before” classes start for them to give you a damn code to enroll in their class. Pathetic

You can NEVER get a hold of anyone! You can only get an appointment if you take the day off and go into the campus in person. When you do get appointments, they call and cancel the appointment. Then, you have to repeat the process all over again! Also, their webpage sucks because you have to log into three different pages to access your canvas and a significant portion of the computer science classes are taught online using books you have to pay for but don’t get to keep. This school is a joke!

The lack of communication from the admin is so appalling emails, texts, calls, and voicemails never get answered and it genuinely ruins an otherwise good school. I feel like if i’m paying +$2000 i should be able to reach someone in less than 50 initial minutes, and another 30 after getting put on hold. Great campus though!

I started going to Pierce in late September, I dropped out of Pierce because they were no help at all what so ever & told me that It was likely that I was not going to be able to get into the pre-nursing program. So I decided to leave within the 2 weeks they give you to drop classes without charging for them and yet here I am being charged over 1,000 dollars for the 2 days that I actually attended their school. I tried contacting them so many times to get help to pay this off and even ask why I was being charged if I had left in the time period they gave me to drop out. I have emailed, called and gin in person so many times and have yet to be helped at all. The advisors and financial are literally the worst its like they couldn’t careless. Overall, I suggest not going to school here they’re the worst.

I would always have to go there in person to talk with an advisor because they hardly ever pick up their phones. I would have to call multiple times and I always end up leaving voice mails with never getting reached out back. I’m not sure what they are doing, but the time I went there in-person. The employees were just messing around with other coworkers and not helping students out that needs help.

If you're a student who uses Disability Accommodations in Pierce College, be aware that if you're struggling to take quizzes, tests, and exams, the ADS Office staffs will "always install a school security camera" near you so you won't be cheating which I think it's ridiculous cuz that'll make my anxiety alot worse from being watched what I do and overthinking for nothing. I never had this issue before, I'm not saying I cheated. I'm saying it's awkward to be watching every move you do unless you don't mind it. Other than that they also don't allow you to use any notes except for a listed plain vocabulary words on blank paper that'll not help you often, this don't make sense to me like what ADS are here for exactly? Do they really care about our success, then let us do what we have to do. Makes me curious, do they want us to fail for profit, by retaking some classes everytime we pay them(if failed a few times) without a refund?

I had a few issues at this school, however the good far outweighs the bad. My instructors for Humanities, U.S. Civil Rights and Astronomy were wonderful. Today was my last day at Pierce. I will always appreciate this school for helping me grow. As I look forward to transferring to the University of Washington, I will also remember to look back at this wonderful community college and all the beautiful memories I have built here. I will cherish my time here.

Earned 3 degrees! Highly recommend. Advocate for yourself and chase the admin and financial aid like any college. :)

I wish I could rate this place with 0 stars. The cashier office never answer their phones, or emails. The last time I was there they told me they couldn't help me. They dropped my classes when there was a hold from financial aid in my account. They said it was for "non-payment" even though I paid all the past due balance. This school sucks and if you are planning on enrolling to this school I recommend you to think about it a few times.

I had a good experience for the summer course in June-August 2021. I highly recommend the summer courses for prerequisites. There are less students and more time to interact and ask for help if needed.

If I could give a one star review to the school I would. Not only did they lie to me about what classes I had to take and when I had to take the classes. But also they gave away my personal information. I received a letter in the mail …

I have been a student here since 2017 and I have had maybe two quarters here where the financial aid office hasn’t messed up my aid in some form. This has made me have to drop classes certain quarters and ultimately has put me behind being …

If I could rate Pierce College negative 5 stars I would. My experience at Pierce College was not a good one. I attended from 2017 to 2021. Their financial aid department sucked and so do the administrators. I had a professor who she said …

This institution has a major institutional leadership problem. First question: How does a college keep its credentials, when the online educational process is a series of YouTube links? Professors should be creating their own digital …

Got my associates here. Overall okay experience, not very challenging honestly (online and in person) so good to take your pre-reqs here! Had to dock one star for financial aid being unable to get back to me in a timely manner though. If …

I applied and was accepted, and the email I got said to email or call the Puyallup location to set up an advising session. The email I sent has never been replied to, it's been a while now, and the phone number just leads to a dead line. Guess I'll go to a different school.

I can't let this summer quarter make me forget about all the good quarters I had with this school. I have never had an issue with financial aid or anything else prior to this summer quarter. Yea they may have made the wrong decision to …

I have been on hold for 35 minutes now with student success and have not been able to talk to anyone on help with enrollment, financial aid, and advising. I have tried calling the different departments but either get hung up on before even getting a chance to speak or I get sent straight to voicemail.
