My name is Abu Taw Haa Muhammad Abdulla. I am Bangladeshi Muslim. I want you to study here. Now how can I study here with you? I have no family. I want my Islamic knowledge and character to be outstanding.

As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was home. Not knowing that my conversion to Islam would happen 2 weeks after my initial visit. I went to meet Br. Jamaal and Sr. Sumayya for a tour and to observe prayer. I had lived most of my life as an agnostic , and my only intention at that time was to gain education about Islam. I sat and observed prayer. I could feel the energy of the congregation flow through me. I began to cry because I knew this was where my body and spirit had longed to be. A week later, I went back to visit Sr. Sumayya, for educational purposes, but my heart and my soul were ready to rest with my Muslim family. That day, I took my shahada! My journey into Islam did not look the way I expected to, but nonetheless, it has been one of the best experiences of my life. I am grateful, honored, and blessed to be a part of this beautiful community.

Amazing Place located in Fullerton, California, just down the road from the Islamic Institute of Orange County (IIOC) Mosque! Classes are on-site and online for the convenience of everyone! This is a great program for those that are passionate about learning more about Islam or simply starting from the basics. This is especially helpful for people that have a regular 9-5 gig as you can take the on demand or online classes. They also have a cafe on-site! Make an appointment, take a tour of the facility and REGISTER!

If you want to have Islamic literacy, and live your life doing right by Allah and Islam, this is the place for you. I've learned so much and am still learning so much by attending this university alhamdulillah. The teachers are well-qualified scholars in Islam, and the material is easily understood and comprehensive. Pursuing a degree in Islamic Studies from CIU was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. I strongly recommend attending this university.

I sought advice from so many people about Islamic learning institutions. Someone recommended this place. It has now been over 1 year that I have been doing the degree program (online). I cannot express how grateful I am to have discovered this place. How does the world not know about CIU? Learning at CIU has actually made practicing Islam easier in some ways. It has helped me to be a better person to those around me. It has also motivated me to benefit my community. I hope to finish the degree InshaAllah. However, it is hard for me to imagine when I will not be part of CIU. JazakumuAllahu Khairan to those involved in making CIU possible. I am grateful for CIU being affordable, easily accessible, and having high Quality classes.

Great place for learning about Islam and Islamic rulings, traditions and lifestyles in the west. Especially good for converts who want to understand and learn about being a Muslim and having the correct information, all this information taught with scholars and professors who understand living in the west and in California. Very good quality and reasonable prices for courses with plenty of learning options. Highly recommended 👍🏼

California Islamic University it a good school where you can learn the basics of Islam. I took classes there myself and have learned a lot. The teachers are great and accessible and is willing to answer any questions. I like the school and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about Islam.

As incoming student at CIU I have benefited greatly from this program. I took my first Arabic course and learned so much! The complexity of the language is vast, however here at CIU it was broken down into tangible and digestible material. Highly recommend this university if you are seeking Islamic knowledge.
