Overview

Osteopathic medical school. Masters degrees in Biosciences. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. For nearly 100 years, Kansas City University (KCU) has been committed to a primary purpose – the education and training of caring, compassionate osteopathic physicians. Today, that purpose has grown, including the training of students in public health, bioethics, biomedical sciences and psychology. Approximately, 1,100 students attend KCU's two colleges, the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the College of Biosciences, on the University's campus near downtown Kansas City, Mo. and in Joplin, Mo. Coming soon - Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine in Joplin, Missouri.

This is not a school I would recommend. They are driven by money, not by student success. Many students say they wish they would have accepted an offer somewhere else or retaken the MCAT in hopes of getting accepted into a better school. The students literally walk into rotations clueless and unprepared. Its sad and embarrassing
