Best College in Connecticut! Amazing faculty, staff, students, and administration. The campus in the beach are absolutely beautiful. Highest rating possible for a great education.

Back when I was a pizza delivery boy no student at Mitchell college ever tipped more than a few cents. Compare this with the kids at Conn College who are decent and would toss a buck or two and say "thank you". For this reason Mitchell gets one star reviews FOREVER

This college is located on the beautiful New London coastline. From the moment you step foot on their campus, there is an overwhelming sense of family. The atmosphere is welcoming, as positive relationships are evident, and encompassed by student success.

My son attended this college, because of the “resources” and staff we were promised they had. Boy were we wrong. First, no one answers the phone and there is no communication between staff, parents and kids. The first day of my son’s attendance, was horrific. I entered his assigned room to bring his items into it and the kids were drinking and doing drugs. Yes, you read that correct. My son was severely bullied and left without a room or place to sleep for a weeks and I had to Uber him home because I could not get anyone from the college to pick up the phone or respond to an e-mail to ensure he had a safe place to sleep. The reason he did not have a room was because he came home for a weekend and got hospitalized for a concussion. When he returned the room was vandalized and smelled of something so foul it was not livable. When I did get ahold of a counselor she stated she could not get anyone to get back to her about getting my son a room to live in. This went on for weeks. The staff not once spoke to my son, went to check on the room or do any form of investigation. Of course, later on they stated that they in fact did, which could not be farther from the truth. The bullying and fact that my son had a room that had been trashed by a fellow roommate when my son was away became so stressful that my son dropped out. When I finally went to go pick up his belongings my heart was broken. His clothes and belongings had been vandalized, most of his items stolen and the room had been sprayed with some form of “stink bomb”. Not one staff member ever entered the room to see the severity of the situation. The school took zero responsibility and turned the blame on my son. I want to mention that my son and I chose this school because of a mental illness and the resources promised to him. However, it is quite the opposite. There is a lack of resources, communication and no one is checking on the safety of the students, like in my son’s situation. There is much more that went on during his short stay at Mitchell but I write this review to warn parents so that they are aware and can make their own educated decision. I know if we could do it all over again we would never have chosen this college.

I love this college. I was told I would never graduate college or get into college. Mitchell accepted me and helped me graduate with my communications degree even when I had learning disabilities. The staff is amazing. Anybody with learning disabilities and wants to attend college and graduate. I highly recommend Mitchell College.

The staff is great, the education is great, the food is better, and the beach is relaxing. However, the example of a student body at this college could use some emotional growth. But other than that, a great school!!!!!!!!
