Very happy with how everything turned out. Everything went so smoothly.
Went here for my AFA in the first graduating class in 1999 and got something I had not planned for: meeting the love of my life there. We soon celebrate our 25th anniversary. Met in Stan Smokler's class (wish there was more sculpture classes but that's just me) A lot has gone on at DCAD since then, most of it positive.
Great student exhibit and a special exhibit of the works of Lemon. Wall texts with history and exhibit narrative well crafted ending with questions that provoke thought. Nicely done!
I was student of 2009 back in the days. I would try avoid their dorms. At that time adminstrator scott was person who was in charge. School didnt have enough space in the dorm so they borrowed space from the residense at Rodney Square. I lived with 5 roomates including me. They had two room so each room was shared with two person. That leaves me two people by living room. We didnt have space so i had to put my bed at middle of living room. Which i should not have because i paid around 1500per month. I had no personal privacy roomates were really prick and immature kids who always play pranks. They covered my bed sheet with left over from dirty dryer vent all over. I ended up getting irratation on my back for sleeping on the bed. My frozen food get thrown away in trash can. They leave kitchen all stacked up with dishes leaving fungus with bad smell. Even though i tell the management scott to help me fix it. Only choice he gave me was move to different dorm. This is one of worst management and wasted dorm money. Avoid their dorm all cost its a joke.
I graduated with an associate of fine arts degree in interior design from Delaware College of Art and Design, Wilmington, Delaware in May of 2014. People in the admissions office, the faculty and the administration were understanding and helpful. The school environment is highly conducive to learning. Good Luck DCAD.
I like it everyone i nice and it feels like home away from home ...small but nice btw classes are really easy just gotta do your part ❤🙌😝 …
A person from here came to my high school in my art class and talked about this school and this school sounds good!!! And iam hopeomg to become a professional Artist in either illustration or animation.
The staff was very informative, professional and polite. I'm excited for son to attend in the fall.
Their one off classes allow people to grow and learn in an awesome environment
We drew animals for the time of 1-3pm, it was fun!!!
