I am extremely disappointed with Ana G. Méndez University, especially their Tesorería (Treasury) department. They play with students’ time, give no clear answers, and make it almost impossible to get help when you need it most. I have been begging for assistance to resolve an issue so I can finish my degree — something I’ve worked so hard for — and yet I get ignored or bounced around. The lack of communication and support is beyond frustrating. Students deserve better. Please, do better for those of us investing our time, money, and effort in this university. It has been months and in the phone for hours hold and no answer

Trigger warning! I'm a disabled VA with disabilities. This place IS NOT READY FOR PEOPLE WITH CONDITIONS. There are "Profesor " who think are above us threatening to lower your grades and other who aren't doing what "Ana G Mendez " goals a mission was stated. Pragmatical-Constructivism". As students, we are paying your salaries and you're not educating but retaliate us your frustration. Many of you have terrible English, missed pronounce many words and evaluating drastically! Many Profesor here "don't have a teaching vocation" the passion to really teach. You aren't providing accommodation to my blind peer. I had better education in my priors 2 MA from PUCPR. I'm planning quitting you! Reading all these reviews you haven't improved any of the areas, and education is your priority! Ama G Mendez legacy is in jeopardy! Your teachers read their PowerPoint, that's not teaching and they demonstrate not being well-rounded educators. So, they can't demand what they aren't.

This university breaks the privacy code imposed in the enrollment contract and talks about your grades, what you're studying, with anyone they want. They don't respect their own rules, neither the office staff nor the teachers. To them, students are worthless. It's full of gossip and slander, because the people who work in those offices have no education or manners.

Words cannot begin to describe my experience at AGMU. The institution has restore my faith in education. I chose this Universidad due to its cultural and international global reach. I’ve opted for a bilingual and multicultural education that transcends race, ethnicity, and class. The institute services not only Latinos who are Spanish speakers but people from all nations. Its staff is highly engaged in establishing community and professional links. They are experience and enthusiastic to teach. The staff is supportive and always willing to work with students to help them learn and apply the knowledge within their own constraints, in short, the institution works with student without compromising their development . The institution is a home for working professional and other seasoned adults with experience and who seek change in their own life as well as feel a calling for humanitarian labor. The classes are instructive, relatable to real world circumstances, educational, and yet impassioned. AGMU is one of a kind. If you give yourself the opportunity and work with staff, you’ll have an experience yet to be define because it is an institution that exceeds expectation, and redefines the standards. Yes some professors may be unconventional, however, it is their diversity of experience , uniqueness, backgrounds, and heart which will set you aside as a well rounded and innovative professional . They do well at teaching theories and models applicable in the real world. Give the institution a try! I can genuinely say, that I have no regrets and my sense of pride in the institution and in myself has increase with every passing moment. Thank you AGMU !

Excellent University! Just got back after few years I paused my studies, and I couldnt be happier. The staff are super friendly and professional, always willing to help you. Super clean facilities, excellent classrooms with all the technology features you could need for a class. Great professors, with a lot of experience in the field, and an extensive resumes. After few years looking at other places, here was the best choice.

I WISH I could’ve looked at the reviews before choosing this school. This is a game they harass you at first and when you are on board and go to go every thing becomes a problem. I moved to a different area in Florida and called to change me address and that took me a good 2 weeks to get someone to simply change my address. Next, I had to wait 2 months to get reimbursed because they had sent my check to my old address which I had changed, on top of that I kept calling to follow up on my reimbursement and COULD NEVER get in touch with no one. There customers service is TERRIBLE. I finally decide to take the drive to orlando to follow up the girl that was acting like she was helping me was horrible because I am an online student she went ahead and said “see this is why I don’t take online classes” and laughed my response to her was “number one that has nothing to do with anything because you are providing a service and two I am a single parent trying to make things work for me and my baby. So your comment is out of line” I was very upset. Again I wish I would have never attended here. They act like they want to help you or they are and on all reality they don’t, with the exception with a couple of employees. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

This administration is not a real university. Don't enroll here. They steal from students. They plot and harm students many times. They don't respect the students. The teachers are corrupt and do not teach properly. You're going to waste your time at this university.

In this university they rob you, some teachers treat you badly, they have no students, it is empty. The one at the front desk leaves you waiting and treats you badly. The system is terrible, they never pick up the calls, The supervisors do not know how to solve problems, there are teachers who discriminate. I don't recommend this place at all.

I graduated from Ana G. Méndez University (AGM University) in 2010 with a Master's in Guidance Counseling, and I still surprisingly read about the same problems that I experienced. AGM University is primarily for Latinos who can't get admitted into mainstream institutions because of the English language barrier (that was my case), and this university exploits the language barrier and student desperation very much to their advantage. AGM University's mission is cheap and low quality to get the most money they can for their pockets in Puerto Rico. Have you seen their campuses in Puerto Rico, full of lush green grass, flowers and palms, and well-maintained buildings while they operate in the States in rented facilities? My degree was useless out of Florida and Puerto Rico. Fortunately, I qualified for student loan discharge.
