Northeast Iowa Community College

On my way from Decorah VA, As a Disabled Veteran my short visit to this beautiful Community College was absolutely AWESOME! I was assisted to get to the proper place by 3 different people. Treating me with the utmost respect 🙏 When I got to the proper location 👌 I met Penny who was an absolutely doll, professional, respectful and very caring! This review is mainly for the human biology teacher. The reason for the one star is due to instructions being very unclear, mis wrote assignment and more plus there not being help from the teacher when needed and asked apon. For instance, there has been times when I got questions wrong on a test and I thought I had them right. So I looked it up and here I was right. So I asked the teacher about it and sure enough I was correct. So had to get ponts added on. Then also when Id asked for help id get told to refer back to the syllabus. Which made me fall behind. The teacher seems like she's not really paying attention to what's going on with her class and not being of any interest. Plus her strategy is to overload students with so much homework and there's no way she could ever actually grade everything. Also whenever I get a question wrong on an assignment or test. There's nothing that says or shows what the right answer is. So you never know what the actually answer is. Which means you just don't know the answer. Which is a big deal for learning. Sorry Mrs.Clegg I like biology but I'm very unsatisfied with the help you gave me and how unorganized your class Is.

Way to go NICC for BULLYING a student out of her program only 1 year before completion just because she won’t comply with getting the Covid vaccine while pregnant. Approving her religious exemption only to go back weeks later and deny it for no solid reason. Forcing students to inject a vaccine without safety studies on pregnant women is beyond low morals. Absolutely disgusting and discriminating. So much money wasted on this school for NOTHING at the end because of their power trip. You have no right to dictate what someone’s healthcare looks like. You are there to teach. NOT discriminate someone who doesn’t agree with your personal beliefs/political views. Will never recommend this school to anyone!

Awesome as always.. I am disappointed having Doctor Wee Leave the college. He was the most awesome Individual we have ever had in that position.

The nursing program is horrible, the school's integrity is severely lacking
