Great place to continue your education. Affordable and efficient. A smaller college like John Wood can work to your advantage. It did for me. There was no overcrowded rooms and parking lots. It has a peaceful location with a clean atmosphere to function correctly. Teachers have more time to work with their students to help them with individual needs. J.W.C.C. is a good choice.

It was a very good school. Had both good and bad. My problems were with Trio and certain instructors who didn"t communicate. Most classes I earned the grade that I deserved. Most instructors were fair and did a great job. Some went above and beyond. So my overall exprience of my 4 years was worth it.

I just wish the library was available late nights and weekends for studying!

Terrible, most of the classes I took there would not transfer to a good college because John Wood is too small and the other better colleges do NOT recognize it. Do NOT waste your time or money. I even asked the John Wood staff before I took the classes and they assured me that they would transfer, what a LIE.

John Wood has a great facility. As a graduate, I lnow that the faculty truly cares for their students. As a spectator, the college is doing an amazing job for area sports.

Waste of time and money. Only 1 microbiology teacher this semester... same one I had last semester that couldn’t speak English and sent us to the dean if we had ANY sort of question. I tried to get a different one this semester but there was only one that they were offering. I reached out for help multiple times and never got any help other than “try finding new ways to study” could never have zoom meetings to discuss a problem. My councilor was absolutely no help, wasted 2 years trying to get things done and she always said I “had” to do this and this first when I have my pre reqs plus MANY more classes completed and even retook micro to get a better grade, with a teacher that can’t speak English and refused to help his own students. He always talked about covid and we never learned anything that was on the actual tests. Total waste of time and money, skip jw and go to a university.

I took the Storm Spotters class here I enjoyed the class and it was very informative Just wish they would of let ppl know where the class was and that you should park in back to be closer to the auditorium

Everyone one there has been very friendly & helpful with the process of trying to go back to school. Finding the admissions office with out directions was also easy to do.

Feels like high school all over again and its even worse because the teachers and staff do not care about the students like they used to.
