Our oldest son goes here. Free tuition, small classes, really good theater department, and a fair amount of sports opportunities, too. Great disc golf course on campus. Tiny town with a great sense of community. It's worth a look if you're considering a really affordable faith-based education. Visit the first weekend in October--there's a lot going on and it's super fun. We stay at the Best Western or Upland Inn, both in Greensburg (about 10 miles away from the college) when we go.

Yes, you will get a great education in your chosen field, Nursing, Education, Criminal Justice, Business, Ministry and etc. What makes Barclay College amazing is it becomes family. It is more than a Bible College, it is a Christian Community where students, and faculty connect with other, the local community, and the World as they learn, encourage, and grow in their the faith in Jesus Christ.

Barclay College offers an incredible community of believers and a long history of graduates who have had their lives transformed. I can personally say, through four years of education, I was encouraged and challenged to grow in my faith and saw the same journey play out for so many other students. Some of my Barclay friends are now pastors, youth pastors, missionaries, teachers, nurses, and more. My time there was an unforgettable experience that I will always be thankful for and the relationships that formed will last forever.

I received my 4 year degree and made many life changing decisions here. Although one can never get the exact same positive experience I received here, I do know that God is in the business of continuing to bless this college with the next generation of strong Christ centered individuals with a passion to reach the world for Jesus’ glory. I hope that if you want practical ministry education with an emphasis on Christ you will consider this school!

sadly, I was hoping to feel encouraged to attend Barclay but I felt as I was being judged because of my appearance. Did not get a good feeling from the psychology advisor he was not welcoming and I didn’t feel comfortable asking him questions. I waited a while to write this review but after coming to another religious college and having the opposite experience I encourage others to do your research. I can see why they offer free tuition must be hard to get students interested.

I am sad to see the bad reviews, because Barclay was an amazing college for me. I graduated over the weekend, and now my husband is starting here. The professors are caring, and always taking it a step further to help you in anyway they can. My mom passed away last year 6 months before my last class and I had a wonderful professor call me and text me regularly checking on me and praying for me. It's a small school, in, well, basically no where haha. If I had to do it all again, I would still pick Barclay. 😍

I don’t honestly know why this college still runs. It’s the exact opposite of what you’d expect of a Christian school. When I got on the plane to Kansas I was happy and my family + friends here in Maine were sad I left. I got there, people isolate people. If you’re not Christian enough there not welcoming or open to be your friends. I had a had a therapist when I lived in Kansas and I’m still paying for the meetings we had. If you’re not from a small town or country side, if you’re not a person who likes feeling out of place don’t go to Barclay. God knows if their really serving him with their discrimination attitudes against diversity!

If you're looking for a college unlike the rest, thinking its solidarity and religious background will be a place of refuge in a time of need, look elsewhere. Although initially its people preach forgiveness and love like every other religious school, the judgment hammer that reins down during your time of need is unlike any other. Perhaps it was only my expierience. I am not so ignorant enough to ignore the possibility that my experience could be the exception... but I do believe their actions during my personal conflict added with my collective time at the college were evidence enough to prove their true intentions. My advice is that if you, like myself, were raised in an absusive home and in your teenage years need guidance and forgiveness, do not rely on a school like this to get you through. Although many individuals were willing to do what they could to help a troubled young me, the school itself was looking for well off religious young people to make their small town look good and wholesome. I was not that, so I was cast aside. They kicked me out in my time of need. They had no idea how deeply depressed I was, but they didn't care because all they saw was inconvenience. I only wish that Barclay College would have been more honest with their intentions. You aren't here to help troubled young people, you are here to collect the innocent goody two shoes who follow blindly. Those who were raised in solid homes with no real idea of what suffering means and praise Jesus till the day is long because Lord knows your leave-it-to-beaver life is all because of him. So if you are one of those, then I guess this school would be more of like a 4 star... not 5 because it's 20 minutes to the closest Walmart.

Loved every minute! Great friends, small classes, ability to be involved in multiple extra-curricular activities, and fantastic caring community surrounding college all made my experience great. You might think it's in the middle of nowhere and you would be stranded with no way to expand your horizons.....Wrong!!! I traveled to Florida, Texas, Idaho, Oregon, Iowa, Colorado, Missouri and even out of the country to Germany, Austria, and Slovakia. Get involved and make a difference in the world for Christ!

They judged me before they got the opportunity to know me.. They welcomed me on their campus only to send me a letter denying access just a few days before school started. God had a plan for me and I was able to make it in another college get my degree and become successful but I wouldn't recommend a college who is going to judge you before they know you
