Consistently professional top notch doctors and staff. Everyone seems quite knowledgeable and helpful. Easy to find well established institution. My only criticism is that this is the only hospital in the Kansas City area that charges everyone for parking.

Absolutely awful. This place is a HIPAA nightmare -multiple patients in the same room, detailed conversations about patients in the hall, housing patients in a waiting room with no bed for hours. And some of the rudest staff I've ever encountered. No transportation to the psychiatric facility except AMR so it is HOURS of waiting. Horrid, horrid experience. Avoid at all costs

Lots of super qualified people from techs to doctors. Nurses and assistants, specialists and etc. The room was very nice and the staff were willing to think through all the possibilities.

They staff are very nice and helpful. The place is fairly large, easy to get lost, but after a few trips there, it gets better. And they have an awesome cafeteria, with good food. Could use some television tho, for those of us who are there all day. But all in all, great hospital.

The ER was great. They have it really organized. Two hours in the waiting room but once we got back to exam room, everything happened fast. My son was admitted pretty late at night. I'm not very thrilled with the overnight nursing staff as they didn't check on him at all but I was with him. The Dr's are amazing. Cafeteria was open all night and since I didn't have dinner, it was nice to have that option

I've been coming to KU MED now for over 20 years to see the same specialist. They are the best team I have ever had! I've also had many surgeries here and have always been extremely happy with the entire staff. If you need to see a specialist I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone. I have never visited the ER so I can't say anything about it.

I have been coming to this hospital for a better part of 4 decades off and on for a myriad of different reasons. This hospital has saved my life on multiple occasions the hospital is very clean everyone who is employed by this hospital from the janitorial services all the way to doctors and nurses who are genuine in the care that they give to all who enter, I have also given birth here and it was a while ago and the hospital back then wasn't as big but the care still was, it has won multiple awards and they are current, and ever expanding to service as many as possible. They care about the community and all people who may enter

I was the eye Dr 1st patient of the day and he did see me until 45 minutes after my appointment time. Be prepared to spend a long time here. This experience was great but sadly it was only required because the Dr and team taking care of me couldn't be bothered to deal with the infection they caused.

This hospital is the best experience I have ever had. From when I needed to go to the emergency room, to when I had to come back for tests. Everyone I have spoken with is courteous and knowledgeable. Every employee has treated me with respect and kindness. Will never go anywhere else.
