Stunning campus down in the Roanoke valley with spacious grounds and lovely views. You can definitely feel how old the campus is and how historic many of the buildings are. It feels like a classic private Virginian liberal arts college. The red brick and white column architecture add to the charm. The equine center is worth a visit if you’re taking a tour as the riding program is well known.
Hollins University has a beautiful campus with lush and well maintained gardens, surrounded by traditional style campus buildings. Founded in 1842, it is one of the oldest institutions of higher education for women.
Very, very nice campus! Beautiful. So proud to have my granddaughter attending here.
The grounds of this oh-so-private liberal arts college for women in the Roanoke Blue Ridge are truly breathtaking. I studied here as a graduate student, in the co-ed M.A.L.S. program, and enjoyed every minute of the experience. The strength and authenticity of the community, and respect for traditions are distinguishing characteristics of the college. This small university has to be one of the most underrated colleges in the country.
Very nice! My son was there all week for the Alegro string camp. The kids performance was held in the chapel. Very beautiful campus. Seems like it would be a great place for education too. Has a nice calming energy about the campus.
Great University! They get to know you by name and help at every opportunity. My daughter has really been enjoying her time at Hollins.
GOTR 2025! So much fun!
I go here, and highkey it's my favorite place on earth <3
The campus is breathtakingly beautiful! Staff and faculty were helpful and excited to see the first year students. I felt very comfortable leaving my niece in their hands to see her through the next 4 years to her college graduation.
The best four years of my life were spent here! The beautiful, serene antebellum campus was the perfect locale for studying and making friends. Although the campus is tiny, it is really such an amazing and magical place where you make long lasting friendships and take classes in such an amazing environment. Small classes, great professors and individualized attention. Academics are strong and the internship program and J-term trips were the highlight of my time there.
Hollins University is my best gig! I think it's one of the best MFA dance programs in the United States. Everything is very well organized, and accommodations are outstanding. It's always a pleasure and I look forward to coming back next …
I loved my time spent at Hollins University for its students, professors, and campus. It's an amazing place to grow and learn and has a strong, supportive community. The campus is beautiful and easily accesible by foot, the professors care …
My 3 years on campus and then my one year abroad were great. Was it all fun all the time? No. But did I learn and grow? Yes! It feels almost other wordly - the ivy covered brick walls, the historical buildings, the "y'all' and "Yes …
I did a college tour here, our tour guide Remi was soo nice! She was so sweet and honest and I felt very welcomed. The school has some very pretty spots and a great view from almost anywhere. Highly recomend if u are looking for a small liberal arts school more on the arts and social sciences side :)
Hollins University, a historical women's college, transcends its roots by producing graduates who not only excel in their chosen fields but conquer uncharted territories. The diverse array of academic programs and extracurricular activities …
Hollins is a beautiful campus. It's the perfect place for my daughter and I can't wait for her to start her journey there
Beautiful campus the neatly North of Roanoke.
Beautiful campus. Because of Covid-19 we couldn't walk or go inside what is usually open. Took some beautiful pictures of the mountains..😊 …
Great experienced and patience professors! Friendly staff and delicious food in the canteen. Beautiful, peaceful and comfortable surroundings!
Great education, weird experience. I don’t regret it and wouldn’t be in my current career path without that network, but you have to be a very specific kind of person to benefit from the student experience.
