If I could give 0 stars I would. This school is not only unorganized, but they steal from their students. I transferred to this school and every chance I've gotten to give a phone call or personal visit to speak with someone in Financial Aid, I was denied. If I left a message, no one called back. I've only have ever gotten an email back from people I've never heard from nor seen in person. I was given a grant to pay for classes, which goes under review BEFORE approving and sending out an offer for grants and/or loans, and when I accepted my offer for my grant amount, they decided they changed their minds magically after I paid out of pocket for the remaining amount. I asked multiple times, through email of course since no one will see me in person nor answer the phone, why this randomly changed. They said it was due to SAP progress not being reached in one area. Reminder, SAP STATUS GETS REVIEWED BEFORE THEY APPROVE OF GRANTS AND LOANS TO BE OFFERED. So how is it that my approval had gone through, even charged to my account, just for it to be taken away? They claimed that they rereviewed the status once final grades went in, which was a lie because final grades from the previous semester had already been posted officially for a month at this point. Don't bother asking any questions to an assigned counselor to help with scheduling classes or what your major should be because they have an attitude if you schedule an appointment, are ill-informed about what classes you should take to be on track, as well as don't answer their phones or emails either. Overall, one of my worst experiences with any school that I've attended. I've had some issues with professors, but not at the level as the rest of the administration that is in charge of everything outside of the classroom and coursework. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. They also will make you retake courses that you've passed at universities/colleges who they claim they have transferrable credits to, for higher education. Don't fall for it.

RPCC is the most ridiculous college i've have ever seen. They do not care about their students one ounce. They will make you pay for classes ahead of financial aid and if you don't then they cancel your classes without notice. They do not care if you are poor and cannot afford classes. Their payment plans are not helpful to most. They are selfish and really just a waste of time. Even when you call they have an attitude with you like you don't have a reason to be upset that now you can't go to college this semester because all classes are full and you have no schedule.

WARNING: If you rely on financial aid to help make ends meet while in school, this is not the place for you! They take forever to process your refund/loans and could care less about the impact it is having on your life. If you go and ask questions about your aid they will have an attitude and drag their feet even longer. I loved this school up until this point. They do not care about their students!

I went here for the first time, PLEASE note this place isn't visible from the road. It also has construction work going on around the area, also the road to the school is pretty messed up. As far as the staff they are very friendly and carw about the education of young adults they offer G.E.D services for special needs adults and teens this place is REALLY hands on with their students no matter the age are the learning disabilities they are there to help

Beautiful little college. Also, I'm so pleased they have collaborated with Ascension Parish Schools to offer the Early College Option! Highly recommended!

Great G.E.D program but you can't take College courses until you pass the G.E.D program.
