I'm a 60 yr old grandma looking for my beautiful 17 yr old granddaughter to deliver a McDonald's dinner to her. The grounds are nicely done and the views are breathtaking.. I was to meet her at the Commons, but I had NO idea how to get there and no experience with UNE 😂🙄 So after turning around multiple times (we saw a beautiful garden geared to attract Monarch butterflies), a wonderful gentleman who had to do with financial and admission stuff told me I could park where it said "staff only", pointed me towards the Commons and said "enjoy your granddaughter!". The people were friendly, the buildings are amazing and I can't say enough about the campus grounds. Awesome visit!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Pompous administration lead the admissions process. Someone once told me they wouldn’t send their dog there….. now I know why. The e-mail showing our application had been received was followed 30 SECONDS later by the rejection e mail. They never even read the application essay that took months to assemble. They had no problem cashing the attached check!! What a joke. I still get pissed when I see their TV commercial saying how much they care about Maine’s future and students.

We just had an outstanding tour of the campus with Chloe. She was so warm, incredibly knowledgeable, and added day-to-day details about the university so that you could really picture campus life there. Thank you, Chloe!

Very unattentive towards students and their needs. Don't let the views of the campus distract you from their inability to hear student voices. Constant obstacles from all levels from admissions to student health services. Nothing can be completed easily with added stress on the students from responsibilities that can be completed by payed positions within this university. This university is very quick to disregard student concerns and allow for a disorganized and stressful student experience. Multiple occasions of rudeness and disrespect as I try to call their services to get situations cleared that shouldn't even be of student concerns. The food is absolutely grotesque with no proper training on either management or cooking. Food is either over cooked, raw or drenched in grease. No allergy friendly options and different food options such as the omelet bar and deli are closed, or became a DIY with none of the options advertised in the selling points for choosing this university. Constant raw chicken and food options that are not appealing to students. The Cafés are overpriced and offer no variety for food options. All dining options are closed to student athletes after their practices accept for windward Cafe which would expect you to pay 9 dollars for a sandwich. Adding an increased financial burden to athletes Tuition has increased yet no significant changes to protocol, dinning options, or student experience.

I never personally went to this school other than to watch a football game. DO NOT ATTEND THIS UNIVERSITY. They just put out a mandatory new rule that FORCES students to attend class every day of the week. In my 40 years of experience I have never come across a university that doesn’t allow students to set up their schedules and have a day off. What god awful place would do that? The Univeristy of New England would…

Moved my daughter in for her first year of college. This place is awesome on so many levels. Lots of covid safety measures in place. Not to mention the beautiful campus and friendly staff.
