Hinds Community College - Vicksburg Campus

I really do like my school. The counselors are nice, the teachers are great, and I love the extra resources they have to help us with studying and tutoring. The front desk staff can be a little rude sometimes, but it’s fine. I really wish they would bring back the bookstore. It’s a bit frustrating for us to have to drive an hour to get our books and/or take them back. It would just be very useful for us to get our books and extra materials on our campus. Overall I do like my school.

Hi I was student at hinds community Ultica college I been there for 2 years the last two years I been there was good until the end of my semester where I had get money out my pocket because their system was down and I wasn’t told anything about the staff of Raymond and ridgeland was irrational and wasn’t give me information on what going on about the aid i will not request or return to this school never again

I wanted to sign up for classes but needed to speak with a counselor. Went into the Banks building. The lady just sat there An look crazy at me. I informed her that I needed some help with figuring out what program and classes were good for me. She told me to write my name on a clipboard and told me to sit down in the front so I did. After 15 mins I went back into room where she was. I asked her how much longer it would be before I spoke with someone. She didn’t even know who I was and what I was there for. I was the only person waiting there. No Help and unprofessional made the whole experience of me wanting to attend there an go back to school a no go. Very disappointed. Didn’t seem like anyone was doing an work
