The block schedule is great and makes it easy to balance work and school. The professors I had were amazing! Small class sizes made it easier for more one on one time with professors without having to go to office hours. If you’re reading this and aren’t entirely sure what you want to study, Western is both a great place to start college because of low tuition, and a terrible place to start too. If you’re looking for unique weirdly specific classes that broaden your perspective to give you a better idea of what’s out there, you might find them here but definitely not as frequently as other educational institutions. Big shoutout to the Biology, Education, and Math departments.
Delightful University. Excellent group of Professors. Custodians are awesome people. They keep Western spotless
The X1 program at UM Western is great. Received a BS here and I loved the block schedule. Some really cool classes spent in Yellowstone, Craters of the Moon, and Moab. Great school.
Great University in a Home Town Setting! Come for the outdoors lifestyle.
Gotta be one the most poorly run schools out there.
Easy town to get around.
