This is a wonderful branch campus that is actively trying to better itself. Like any place it isn't perfect but that doesn't mean there isn't the potential to learn a lot and make the most out of it. There is a lot of nature to walk around, everything you need is close by, and the facilities are always improving in different ways. The dorms could be improved especially the village it is getting a bit outdated. The library staff is wonderful especially Melissa and Annamarie. There are always activities going on around campus (you just have to seek them out and plan it out), and there is even a sensory room in the library. It is a beautiful campus, and you can definitely make the most of it if you are looking in the right places and put yourself out there.

Saved lots of money by attending Berks for 2 years and got an excellent, well-rounded education that serves me to this day. Extremely friendly faculty, small classes, supportive staff. I commuted but spent most of my ti.e on campus with the friends I made and got involved in several groups and almost daily activities.

First and foremost I would like to thank all of the staff at Penn State Burke .. From the orientation to moving in process and financial aid . It was all five stars .. Most of all I would like to give a shout out to my favorite librarian Paula 👍 .. From first day at orientation when I met her with my son she was awesome .. My son has gone back to her to ask her with questions and what procedures to take on succeeding and from what he tells me she’s nothing but smiles and full of helpful information ..TY . Along with the tutors they have set up that my son is constantly taking advantage for the extra help that is needed to succeed . Awesome ! It’s tough as a parent to send your Child out into the world without you being there overseeing their decisions everyday from 18 years , but knowing that he is at Penn State Burke with people that I’ve met I feel like I have family over looking my sons process in succeeding . Thank you Penn State Burke .

I love this campus. It is a campus where you can get nearly all of the perks of going to Penn State, but with smaller classes and professors who, generally, care more. There are plenty of 4-year degrees so that you needn't transfer to main campus if you don't want, and plenty of programs that make it easy to transfer. There are also many resources available to a far smaller group of students that make them more readily available and able to be tailored a bit more to anything you need. I personally am fond of the fact that many of the professors in my major (Business) are not people who went to school to teach, but people who were (and often still are) in related fields. This allows them to teach you what actually matters rather than all of what some book says you should know.

IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD IS NEURODIVEGENT-Don't waste your time here. They provide no students support. Got a loan to cover the majority of my student loans that FASFA wouldn't cover. Spent several hours in financial aid making sure everything was set up properly for it to fall flat in my face and have her tell me it's my fault that the FASFA wasn't finished properly when she told me everything was all set and I went over it all within the office my freshman semester.I was forced to pull another student loan out on top of my initial loan for my 1st semester. I had to take the following semester off for a family death because my grandmother was dying of ALS. Decided to go back for another semester afterwards just to find out I can't get any financial aid nor pull any students loans when I initially had over $40k approved. Was forced to withdrawal from the university because I couldn't afford to pay my second semester tuition out of pocket. So I've been paying a 10k loan off for 5 years from my first semester and I'm currently dealing with collections for the rest of the loan I couldn't cover initially and forget trying to set up a payment plan with the university. They add "fees" just about every couple months. I just got a $500 fee on top of my remaining balance when over half of it's paid off and that's the most recent "fee". Please go to any other college I know several people who have been screwed over by this university including myself. It's not worth wasting your time here.

Loved this campus so much that I went back for a second degree. First degree I went to Berks for two years then transferred to Main Campus. There’s nothing like Main Campus but if you are a homebody like me and like smaller ,more intimate classes, Berks is the perfect place to go.

Many negative comments mostly about the address.. even though the address is fine. Just exit 222 on broad casting make a left at the light and the campus is right there. The address is the correct address for the school as the only access used to be off tulpy road. The school is nearly always open and most office hours are from 9 to 5. Overall this is a very good school and is far better than many others i have seen or been to. Small Campus charm with the ties and resources of a major college campus.

I went here for my freshman/sophomore years and loved every second of it (excluding calculus). Some of the campus has been updated over the past few years but when I went there (04-05) it seemed sort of outdated. Good professors (if you put in the effort)!

Got a bachelor's degree and two minors from there, best years of my life! Whether living on campus or commuting, this campus gives you a big name degree with small and interactive classes; it's the best of both worlds.

I would think twice before you come here. I attended for a year and I left and then they call me three years later saying that I owed 700 dollars which I didn't owe the school anything. Because of this I wasn't able to transfer to the school I was planning on transferring soon so now I am two years behind because of that. I strongly discourage you to not attend this school. Go to RACC.
