Touring as a kid, UNC seemed to be really well put together as a campus. Felt extremely navigable, and the architecture of the buildings made it distinct from the rest of the surrounding landscape. Loved the water fountain for good luck and the bell tower. Great visit, and it's also a very relaxing place to take a walk under great big trees with lots of shade in the spring and summer. Highly recommend! Go tar heels...

It's kinda hard finding your way around at first, but there are plenty of helpful people to help you find where you need to go, they have 3 different cafeterias with a good selection of foods, and I think the food was pretty good. The nurses were extremely nice and made sure they wecwere taken care of.

PROS: Education is superb. School has an excellent reputation & funding. Saw diverse (race, gender, LGBTQ+) representation in students and faculty. CONS: The university is a brand, and that stifles personal identity & creativity. Saw a double standard for black students vs white students. Saw diversity but didn't experience inclusion. The town is privileged with little to do and little cultural diversity.

Always a great day to be a Tar Heel <3 thankful for all the mems and people I met during my time at unc. Parking & transportation is awful tho, I hope to see it improve one day. Game days are always the best especially when we beat Duke. Will never forget rushing Franklin, springtime at quad and more. I’m so grateful for the full ride and I look forward to giving back someday. 🩵

We visited the UNC campus as tourists, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. A supremely well manicured and well maintained campus with a number of buildings that are couple of hundred years old. You can just walk randomly and still take in a lot of the campus, but it is even better if you have someone who knows the campus and can tell you why to take a sip of water at the fountain or a bit of history of the Old West building. We recommend the Coker Arboretum, a calming oasis with some excellent fauna (tiger lilies!).

Went to a 7v7 tournament here and the kids had a blast. The facilities are very nice and the camp was well run. Can't wait to get back here next year.

My family and I walked the campus on Thanksgiving day, what a beautiful campus especially in the fall. So many cool looking buildings, places to sit outside. I would visit again just to look around again.
