Really enjoy this equestrian venue! Lovely stabling and good footing. Climate controlled. When it rains, our shows are all indoors, which is lovely.
I enrolled in May to begin attending Radiology classes in the Fall. I received an email saying I should receive ANOTHER email with my student email address and other info. I never received it. So I visited the school, and having never been there before I bumbled around the campus until I found the student aid office. The bald woman they deemed competent enough to work the desk struggled. She didn't know that November's number is 11, when there are only 12 months. She told me that they updated their system and lost my application and I'd have to reapply. Then she said she found me in the old system and got me an appt with my advisor for the upcoming Tuesday at 11am via Zoom. I called back on Monday because to accept the Zoom invite I'd need access to my student email account, which I STILL didn't and don't have. When I called on Monday a different woman informed me that they cannot access the old system and that there was NEVER an appointment made for me in the first place. So the bald woman is a liar and wasted my time. I decide that I have an interest in truck driving, so I called to inquire about the CDL course. Their CDL course doesn't accept FAFSA. So now I'm not enrolled in classes in the Fall, have no way of paying for CDL classes and I'm just disgusted with the level of quality that I find myself wading through in Cheyenne. But honestly this is exactly what I should have expected from this town. Nothing helpful, nothing useful, and no competence or accountability.
Graduated from here and it was a fantastic school. I wish I could have stayed forever! My professors were amazing and so helpful and my advisors got me on the track to graduation easily. Love this school so much and honored to be an alumni.
I would not recommend dental hygiene program in this school. You’ll end up failing and getting dismissed from the program with this director. She’s also very shady, fake, and is not honest. Your hard work will never pay off. I’m saying this because I have experienced it and it’s not just me. Other students have had the same problems. Also, they have a bad rate on graduation and on passing boards and that doesn’t look good in their scores for their school’s program. It doesn’t make sense to get accepted into the program if all you’re going to do is fail and your teachers intimidating you about the program. I had to pay around $5000 after being dismissed from the program. Nothing will ever change until you speak up for yourself. IN FACT I SAW ONE CLASS GRADUATED 10 STUDENTS. DO NOT GO TO THIS HYGIENE SCHOOL!
I had a great experience here, and I think the college is a great addition to our community. Lots of great events spaces, a ton of community outreach, lovely staff, and teachers who go above and beyond for the students.
My daughter and I had the privilege of being advised by Bess. Her professionalism and caring attitude for my daughter was off the map. She didn’t just communicate the requirements to sign up but made a connection with my daughter. My daughter is looking forward to attending classes at LCCC. Please pass on this father’s enormous gratitude for her 5-Star Service. In my previous position, I was an academic advisor and understand it is not always the easiest job. However, it is key to setting the initial impression of the school. In our humble opinion she set an AWESOME standard for the school. Thank you so much for putting students first!
It's a great school with a lot of programs, fantastic community outreach, and it's a great way to start the college journey (cheaper and convenient). The new art building is a wonderful addition to the whole campus.
I attended from 2014-2016. Most of my instructors went above and beyond when any issues arose from myself or one of my classmates. My only issue was having my advisor switched three times in my two years at the college. It made planning my classes rather frustrating, but in the end my advisors and I made it happen. This school has an amazing Criminal Justice program that I recommend to anyone looking for their Associate’s or using this school as a stepping stone to going to university.
I went here before going to UW and I had nothing but good experiences here. The instructors were all great and the best part was the fact that you don't have 150+ students in your classes. Seriously take your lab sciences here instead of the University of Wyoming.
I love LCCC! One of the best decisions of my life. Tons of great faculty, who are there for the community. I am an active student, who continuously learns.
