Toccoa Falls Bible College!!! 🌎World Missions Department and tons of degrees offered. I graduated in 2007 and now our oldest will attend. Absolutely amazing experience. We lived in the city of Toccoa and absolutely loved our time here. Such a great college holding two traditional values. “ where character is developed with intellect” true to the word as listed on the sign as you pull onto the campus. 🔥🎚️🔥 A wonderful place to visit if you’re passing through and an especially blessed place to attend if you’re looking to grow in Christian education and potentially serve in ministry or various other fields. ⚓️ Jesus is King 👑
My wife went to college here over 30 years ago and we still keep coming by to visit the beautiful campus. Two of our children are considering coming here after they graduate high school. The professors here are distinct in their fields.
To get to the Falls you have to go to the Welcome Center. There is a $2 charge per person. As you can see it's very beautiful and relaxing.
I've been staying here for the last week for camp Journey, and it's been great! The food is delicious, and the staff are so kind and helpful! One thing I really like about the college is the fact it's near a waterfall! It's a very wonderful college!
Outstanding waterfall located in North Georgia. Site is located on a college campus. Just search Toccoa Falls in map program and it will bring you in. We use Apple Maps. Call to get times, they do close at 4:00 pm. I think most days you can enter at 10:00 am. Cost is 2:00 per person.
Toccoa Falls College is a private Christian College in Toccoa Falls, Georgia. The campus covers 1,100 acres, bordering the Chattahoochee National Forest. This is also home to home the Toccoa Falls, a 186-foot high waterfall. It was a very peaceful and tranquil area, pretty deserted except for a couple of students playing in the water.
Watching the falls was an amazing experience. Nothing really else to do. You can definitely take some great pictures here. If you go to the gift shop you can get souvenirs.
Great lil fall for out of town. Quite quiet and peaceful.
Absolutely wonderful place on campus to visit. They story is amazing.
As the parent of a graduate from TFC, I can share that while my daughter found the campus to be situated on beautiful landscapes with much to offer, she found TFC leadership lacking in abundance. The student population was kind and inviting while allowing for connection and community. While there is racial diversity there is much to be said about the lackluster social and economic diversity present on campus. My daughter and my husband and I found leadership uninformed and unable to connect much less meet the needs of students beyond their majority represented demographic. Our daughter witnessed firsthand the flagrant dismissal and sometimes maltreatment of students with needs. While attending, she was aware of a student's disclosure of rape to leadership that was not only overtly dismissed, but instructed to not report to local authorities. The student victim withdrew from enrollment with no report being made. The now retired Nancy Hyndman, who was chosen and supported by current leadership to serve as a facilitator to students with disabilities and exceptional needs repeatedly belilittled students for what she deemed "weird", "not a disability" or "a waste of resources". Those students having clinical documentation of remarkable needs including, autistim, hearing impairment, dyslexia, major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders just to name those I am directly aware of. Students who only had the expectation of their services being provided as agreed upon when enrolled. As a professional pediatric patient advocate I was disgusted by the maltreatment. My daughter sustained a hed injury due to unmaintained ramps and when Dr. Bob was engaged by myself in regards to the incident he cited her recent "smile" as his reasoning that she was fine, despite his knowledge of her doctor instructed transport to a regional trauma center. He made no effort to offer compassion or even prayer for her after her avoidable injury. Further, another wheelchair bound student sustained a fall from an improperly installed ramp in the same semester and reports a similar response. While yes, TFC offers biblical education and our daughter graduated with her degrees intended in 4 years, she, myself and my husband would be hard pressed to recommend this institution to anyone. While scripture is largely present throughout the classroom and materials, the application of it by leadership is heretical. Leaders who chose to leader under the banner of the teachings of Christ are to be held to a standard that TFC leadership clearly operates below.
The falls were absolutely breathtaking. I loved the way the sun hitting the falls made a rainbow at the bottom. The trail is only a short walk and is wheelchair accessible. I think they have done a great job with the landscaping on the way to the falls as well. I can't wait to go back in the spring when the flowers are in bloom.
A really gorgeous waterfall right on the campus of a very nice college. There seemed to be plenty of friendly folks here. There was no parking fee at this site unlike those run by the state. I bet this is a popular spot during the day at …
Beautiful falls, you get very close to this one. Very short walk. The path is well taken care of. We even found a small water fall behind the powerplant(next to the visitor center), which was a nice surprise.
Overall, pretty decent experience. The friends i made, I absolutely love. Education department is primarily geared to elementary and secondary suffers. Teachers can be super judgmental and make it hard for you if they don't like you. They …
Took the college tour during preview weekend and were very impressed! We were able to explore campus, meet the professors, see the falls, and visit the livestock. …
Nice waterfall at Toccoa College. Looks like they had a wedding the night before. We went early... about 8:30am... before officially open, but was able to get in. …
This is my first waterfall !! And I loved this experience !!!
An incredible 146 foot waterfall right here in north Georgia!! Easy short path, on Toccoa Falls College campus. Definitely worth seeing.
Taccoa falls is a beautiful falls nestled in the N Georgia mountain. I find the ride up there to be as beautiful as the destination itself. But dont take the full main roads like i-985. Take the road less traveled and you will be rewarded …
I don't go to school here I just like to occasionally admire the beautiful waterfall. I will now proceed to post a picture of the same said waterfall that has probably been taken over a million times by students and tourists. …
