Very clean and staff was also very courteous. We were there for a state administered test.

Some staff are nice and helpful. Some are not. The cost is great, but the school lacks course availability and will encourage you to drag out your education. Some professors are just bad and I doubt they require them to take any professional development on how to teach. You need to do your own research and plan everything out yourself if you decide to go here. Many students drop or transfer due to frustration.

Disappointing unprofessionalism from certain employees in administration (LUCY JENKINS). Granted, some were helpful, but you know what they say about a few bad apples. When attempting to assist my brother with the submission of some financial aid documentation, I was treated by Ms Jenkins with hostility, dismissal, passive-aggressiveness, and an overall attempt to inhibit my attempts to get information. She even went so far as to claim that I had no right to talk to her since I do not attend NCC. I suppose I have the good fortune of attending an institution where employees are actually held to some standard of professionalism and interpersonal skills. I will never forget my interaction with Ms Jenkins and I sincerely hope that NCC holds their employees to a higher standard in the future for the good of the students and their families. My brother is no longer enrolled at this institution, and I am grateful that I will not have to endure the shocking rudeness of Ms Jenkins again.

I got an AS in Machining from NCC and was incredibly pleased with the experience. Professors Dodge and Howe were excellent teachers with a wealth or real world experience that made learning the material easy. The machines were modern and what I learned here was immediately applicable to the work force. My only regret was not coming here earlier.

A great place to learn machine tool technology. When I got a degree including machine tool techology, I got a great education in the basic and a good introduction to computer aided manufacturing, but since then, the program has been expanded and the lab space has been doubled with at least ten times the number of computer controlled machine tools and expanded computer design lab. Lots of access to instructors who have real experience in manufacturing.

I registered for a course to take this Fall and when I went to pay for it, I was told the course was cancelled. Not only was the course cancelled but the entire program was shut down for this school year. It was decided that enrollment was too low and they are now going to offer this program every other year. This was a last minute decision and very unprofessional of NCC, in my opinion. I really wish that this was a more thought out process and that the school took into consideration the students who were already enrolled. Now I’m left high and dry and struggling to figure out what to do 😒

They don’t care if their professors purposely sabotage grades, consistently use the “R” word like professor Barbaro for Biology, and the misgendering of non-Binary classmates that use they/them pronouns. All of which happened after we complained/confronted her on her behavior. When reported, the lady in charge of complaints treated my husband like he was crazy and did nothing except say she would bring it to professor Barbaro’s attention. A- average in the class to C- OVER NIGHT AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER!!! Only come to this school if you’re a straight WHITE cis Person. After 4 years of school my husband never has complained about a professor (UML transferred to NCC). Shows ya something about this facility. Thanks and I hope this helps people in the future.

Not sure why webcams and headphones can't be accessed at the library to be rented or checked out. I was told they "aren't for students." This is strange considering tuition was just raised, and you know, I pay to go here.

Staff in all offices are generally very helpful and very nice. This place has a great Machining/Manufacturing program that anyone interested should check it out!
