Wow, they are serious about their Falcons. It is a beautiful campus that looks to be handicappedaccessible. It also looks safe.

We stayed on the Bowling Green State University campus for a week for our youth conference. We had over 1300 youth in attendance. The campus is very beautiful and well taken care of. The facilities were very clean. The staff were friendly to work with throughout the week. The food at the dining halls was pretty good. Our youth had a great time in the campus.

As an alumnus of BGSU, I did have some great time and precious memories on campus, and even now I still appreciate this journey and all the people I met here.

My experience with the Photo chemical Science PhD program at BGSU has been extremely negative. Many of the course works are of sub-par quality. The educational activities outlined in the road-map are not fully delivered. The advisor is exploitative who expects students to work without knowing the basics of the method students are using and without any funding, he also exhibits threatening behaviors. Some faculties in the PCS program are just cutting-edge politicians and are extremely abusive. And they do not respect student privacy right, they will disclosing student's academic standing to third parties like parents without student's written consent. I was the only Asian student in the PhD program and also the only one expected to work without any financial support, otherwise I will be accused of not fulfilling my " research duty" I believe discrimination has played a role in this kind of arrangement. They also threatened me not to file a complaint. In addition I clearly stated in my application materials that I wanted to pursue research in discipline A but the advisor and faculty tried to push me into doing B, showing zero respect for student's personal academic goals, and when I resisted I even faced threats that created a hostile and unsafe environment as shown in the attached screenshot where the advisor told me to consider changing supervisors in the middle of a discussion about exam requirements which directly tied my academic standing to compliance with his demands. In my opinion this kind of program should be removed with the ability of providing international students with visa application materials and I strongly advise against anyone to choose such a program.

Sunday after Christmas took a nostalgic campus tour. It was great, no one was around and I could just stroll about. Started counting new buildings, that have appeared since my days on campus and decided it was easier to count the one that I knew, that were still there. Even my old dorm was gone! South Hall, my speech and theatre homebase was renamed. But get this, the Bursar's building was gone too, if they would have asked I would have helped tear that one down. The advancements in technology and convenience that have amassed since I graduate in 1985 really changed the place. Proud to be a Falcon!!!!!!!!

What a beautiful campus. We visited on the President's Day open house to do some tours with our graduating child. What an experience to visit on an actual school day and witness the university in motion. I now know why my kid has committed to BGSU! Every person we met, including the president of the university, were genuine and enthusiastic, making the experience that much more enjoyable. A huge thank you to all the students and staff that made for an amazing day.

Worst experience never expected this from bgsu where they quote” public university for public good”. As an international applicant I have been really really disappointed by bgsu. Waited for a month for my i20 after getting accepted for fall 2025 but they cancelled my application in the last minute. I kept bgsu in my top 2 and now my time and efforts all have been to vain. Neither they wanted to refund my application fee of $75+ sat score of 14$. They sent a very very unprofessional email about my application being cancelled and when I emailed them about the refund the team just replied with we won’t issue any refund this is very disappointing and frustrating. The whole bgsu’s faculty has been really unprofessional they never notified me about the chances of my application being cancelled until the very last minute because of which my application process has been delayed in other universities too. I am from a third world country where it is really difficult to send money for application fee in dollars. All this effort and expectations has been crushed by this university guys please be careful about where you apply to because this can happen to anyone and whichever university they apply to especially BGSU as in my case

This University is a top notch school. Sports great, school food good, friendly people who care about one another. Your not just walking into a great education your coming into a family of friends and future experience you will never forget. Hey Falcons!

The campus is really Big, but still really beautiful to see during the late spring time with blooming flowers. Offers a variety of services regardless of the students major. BGSU has great ways to gain experience for future Marine biology majors in Ohio as well as future majors in the school of Media and Communication.

Bad staff. Many are not professionals as they should be. However, certain programs are good and you will learn stuff for credit towards a degree or two degree or whatever you are doing.

Good quality education with affordable price. The mid-sized campus makes it easier to mingle and socialize with all sorts of people. I was an international graduate student there and met a lot of domestic and international student friends …
