I love this school. This is the place to go for a good education. Thank you especially to the music and sonic arts program. It's changed my life and the ways I understand, feel and listen to music in so many ways. The teachers in this program are excellent and it's such an privilege to be able to study with such awesome people.

I have been attending PCC for quite some time, and unfortunately, my experience with their support staff has been consistently disappointing. Communication is poor, mental health support is virtually non-existent, and there seems to be a troubling culture protecting incompetent staff who mistreat students. Students working for the college are severely underpaid, even as tuition costs rise — despite many classes being online or self-led. PCC has a documented pattern of removing negative student reviews. I am replacing mine here. From the beginning, my experience at PCC has been marked by administrative incompetence. When I first attempted to enroll, my inquiries were ignored for several terms. Later, when updating my degree and seeking guidance from advisors, I was passed between departments and incorrectly listed under the wrong major more than seven times. While employed by PCC, I worked for the CLEAR Clinic. The clinic was widely used by PCC for positive press, but it never received adequate financial or institutional support. Ultimately, the clinic was dismantled due to PCC’s lack of support, and as a result, I lost my job and was reassigned to a less stable environment. There, I experienced harassment, bullying from staff and students, and stalking. Despite following all appropriate reporting channels, my concerns were dismissed or ignored for weeks. Throughout my time at PCC, I observed a consistent pattern of mismanagement: student funds mishandled, staff abusing authority, and a culture that tolerates bullying and harassment while prioritizing public image over resolving actual issues. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend PCC as a school to attend. Overall, PCC needs to seriously rethink how it supports and values its students and staff.

This campus is pretty nice considering the location (I checked on Google Earth and found a car with their windshield smashed in with a rock in the nearby neighborhood.) There's plenty of parking and even an underground garage if you're worried about your car, plus security wanders the campus to keep the place safe. The mess hall is rather disappointing but it's mainly because of the small student body attending. Solid campus 7/10

Took the EMT Program here in 2024. Super affordable unlike Chemeketa 🤮. All of my instructors are super cool and easy to get along with. I became friends with everyone In my EMT class which was very very helpful and made the class so much more enjoyable. We all passed the class because the instructors here refused to give up on us and continued to help those who were struggling. And the students would also step up to help other students who were struggling as well. I absolutely loved that. If you get an instructor helper by the name of Joey I think. Be sure to ask him about his Sphinx Cat and what shampoo he uses. He loves telling that story. Thank you Matt and James and all the instructors that helped us!

My second year attending this campus. It’s nice and clean with good security, from my experience. The professors are typically kind and easy to talk to, with few exceptions.

Great College been going here for two years transferring to PSU starting Winter Term 2024. I will definitely miss this place; the detailed instruction and attention to overall wellness of the students is what sets this school apart from other community colleges. Highly recommend this school for future transfer students.

pcc is literally the worst community college ever. They don’t support their international students - even if they sell the idea that they would do so - so be prepared to figure everything out by your own. And if you are late in a payment plan they will put you in collection really quick! Be aware!

I am a senior (65 y. O.), and I took some post grad studies to transfer out because it is less expensive. I believe it to be a pretty good institution. The professors are great, one can take classes at the various Campuses, park the car at one campus and take a school shuttle to another campus; save on gas. I enjoyed my experience at PCC, and the counselor’s and staff are very helpful. Students were friendly and helpful as well, and there is tutoring and study groups to enjoy as well. I recommend PCC.

So based on the recent reviews, I'm not the only one who has issues with the advisors. The lady I spoke to on the phone was rude. It didn't seem like she wanted to work or answer my questions. She told me it takes 4-8 weeks to get credit for my degree since I'm only doing a certificate while the course starts next week. So what is the point ?! If the advisor is my first look at the college, then pcc isn't for me. Train your advisor staff on customer service ! And maybe your prospective students won't be going elsewhere.

I currently go here and honestly I have had nothing but a positive experience here. I currently take the Recording Technology II class and it is so much fun and yes there is so much assignments, but I don't mind it. After I graduate from …

This review is not for my experience at PCC, which for the most part has been quite good. I've liked my professors, and have learned a lot over the last year. This review is for a recent experience I had with an advisor. I reached out to …

It's a lovely little college. The Resource Centers are amazing! They have nice buildings and is easy to navigate. Not a very nice part of town though. I would still take classes here!

Great school, very clean campus. Great Atmosphere. Many buildings but the main one is called Student Commons. Lots of parking! If you stay for more than 15 minutes you need to pay for parking!

There is this lady that worked at the Silletti’s services with curly hair black hair with glasses, and I had some questions about some clock classes and she was almost mocking me that I didn’t know where I was going or what I was doing. Very rude lady just go to the PCC a Hillsboro way better they don’t treat you like garbage there.

I've taken two courses at Cascade, one at Sylvania. The instructors care, lab facilities are great (except for the chairs), and class size is a tenth of that at a major university. Plus, weekend and evening classes are great for those working full-time like myself. And it's affordable.

I was invited to sit in on a film class. We watched the now classic "The Godfather". It's great to see young people discussing with intelligence and deep analysis some of our cultural fixtures. Feeling motivated to fight crime!
