EOU has a LOW graduation rate (32% to 41% depending on your sources!) and offers a somewhat restrictive catalog. I attended in 2012 before shifting gears and attending school elsewhere. That said, I found my instructors to be attentive and invested in providing a good education. I always enjoy visiting the EOU campus, and for the most part, people there are friendly. There is a cool Disc golf course at the campus too, parks flank it, and it's within walking distance of both good food and downtown. The campus is almost directly across the street from the law enforcement complex and courthouse; I've walked the campus during the day and evening and never felt unsafe, though there are lots of unlit areas and stray dogs roaming from time to time (like everywhere else).
I attended EOU for three years and really appreciate the school. It's quality professors (most were great with only a few exceptions), small class sizes, and affordable tuition make it one of the best bang for your buck colleges in the country. They also have quality sports programs, tons of resources to help students succeed academically, and even help students find employment when they graduate.
This school is amazing. The faculty is exceptionally helpful. Their distance learning program has helped me to get a quality education while working full time.I feel challenged by my coursework but find myself able to complete it along with my work. I could not be happier with my experience at this school.
As a non-traditional student, I found EOU big enough to offer all the classes I needed to complete an Ant/Soc degree, but intimate enough that professors knew me by name and gave me extra assistance with completing my educational goals. I WAS A PERSON AND NOT JUST A STUDENT ID NUMBER. The campus is safe - I had no concerns walking at night, it has plenty of lighted walkways, and parking lots. EOU is a big city university in a small town community :)
EOU is a great school. I never thought I would attend here, but absolutely love the professors and the convenience of their online classes. Biggest concern is price. When I started it was much cheaper, and my wallet has regretted the increases every semester.
I love this school. All the faculties are really helpful. It is a small campus easy to get from one class to another. Love the chemistry faculties , they are super nice and helpful..
Eastern Oregon University provided me with an outstanding education. The quality of instruction and individual attention I received at this institution was second to none.
Great location and campus is set up well. Enjoyed the visit.
Nice parking blocks. It's a nice place to skate
Nice campus in a beautiful lanscape
