On Sunday 18 April 2021 I visited the campus of Lafayette College in Easton Pennsylvania. I was a perfect spring morning for picture taking. This campus is beautiful. It is situated on a hill above the city of Easton. I cannot comment on the quality of education that you'll receive here. I do not go to school here. On campus parking is available for visitors like me. Impressive campus, compact and neat.
A few years ago, I toured Lafayette College, and it was a beautiful campus! Here are some of the buildings I visited. I highly recommend taking a visit!
I am not a student I simply visited the school. Its a nice campus built into an old town Son now here a year, buildings a bit rundown inside for tuition charged
Beautiful school with a rich academic and sport history
Wow! What a beautiful campus. We were surprised at how "college like"it felt while nestled inside a town. Don't miss out on touring this college if you are worried about it being too close to a town for safety. It feels very separate, but close enough to enjoy the beautiful Easton town. The buildings and grounds are very well maintained and they are absolutely beautiful. The football field is fantastic and the school spirit at games is palpable. Walking the campus I quickly noticed how friendly and happy the kids all were. School swag is proudly worn by the students and I felt they went out of their way to smile or make you feel welcome on campus. Lafayette is everything you think a college should be and more. Update* having one semester under our belts I can honestly say this school is perfect. Our child is thriving academically and socially. The school has given our child support when needed and so many opportunities it's incredible. I can not say enough about how happy we are with Lafayette College.
Horrible! Worst experience ever at this dump. Everything about this place is the antithesis of what you expect from a +$70,000 per year college. Students here are extremely judgmental and conceited. Unparalleled levels of conformity. Good luck fighting extreme depression unless you are on a sports team or part of greek life. Worst 4 years I could have ever imagined. Enjoy the horrible rainy and cold weather in Easton as well as all the dangerous addicts in the schools vicinity! There is a certain type of person who will love it here. If you want to go to a boarding school for college, this is the place for you.
The campus is very big, with nice lawn and pavements. The buildings are also nice looking but old. They might need to number the classrooms quite clearer so that students can easily find them. The people are generally kind; I am not sure on this because I was attending a competition there and some students were actually foreign, coming from other universities. Generally a good place to visit.
Beautiful Campus just over the NJ border.
One of the most beautiful campuses I have ever seen. Students are impeccably smart and well rounded. I loved my 4 years here. I'd say it's a true “hidden ivy”.
Highly performative elitist business. Questionable management for less vocal communities. On the plus side they do get handsome endowment, effective networks and some program leaders who genuinely care and provide great services. Problem is you might never get close to these resources.
