I attended a networking event at the J.D. Brown Entrepreneurship Center. It was a memorable evening. Evan, the presenter who spoke about laser-cutting metal technology, seems to be on the verge of something significant.

Brought my HS Senior here to check it out . YCP seems to have everything a student could want. We were able to speak with one faculty member in her major which was very helpful. The facilities are really nice. They have competitive sports, everything but football. Really nice fitness facility. By all appearances this would be a great school to attend.

Cool college, that's not huge. My son loved the open house. Very expensive though.

If you are a prospective student considering York College of Pennsylvania, I would strongly advise against attending. The institution is notably expensive, and many professors exhibit a lack of effective communication and collaboration with their students, particularly regarding coursework and academic support. Furthermore, the financial aid department operates at an unacceptably slow pace, creating additional challenges for students seeking timely assistance. In my personal experience, I encountered an incident involving Professor Shontae Graham, who obstructed my access to the restroom for an urgent matter, even though the class had ended at 4:45 PM. When I attempted to address this issue through the appropriate school resources, I found their response to be as inefficient and slow as the financial aid department’s handling of other concerns. I strongly recommend thoroughly researching alternative institutions in your area before committing to York College of Pennsylvania. Other colleges may provide a more supportive environment and better overall value for your education.

Great college it’s my daughter’s 4th year here and she loves it. Only wish they had elevators and air conditioning in all the housing. Nothing like hauling boxes up 3 floors in a building with NO AC. U would think all we pay in tuition we could at least have some air or an elevator!

I absolutely loved attending York College. The classes they provided and the professors who taught them were the Best of the Best! York also kept up with student life and involvement, there was always something to do on campus or if you needed help with homework they even had a Learning Center to help you out. York College is also the perfect location to everything in the York Area, and the internship opportunities that they could provide students were steps ahead of other colleges. Love the school and its people!

Their financial aid department is an unorganized mess. they have a contract with a sketchy debt collector in New York that quadruples the debt and they will not hesitate to send teenagers straight out of high school into collections and ruin their credit. As for the school itself some of the professors are good but a lot of them are horrible and should not be teaching anyone. This school is all about $$$

I graduated in 2004 and I absolutely LOVED York! I loved the size of the classes and personalized attention you recieved from the professors (I was even tutored by one personally!) the professors really take their time to guide you and to make sure that you are understanding the lessons. The tuition was affordable especially for a private college!! The social life was awesome too. Tons of fun frats & bars to go to. The parties were always so fun and the drinks were always super cheap! I lived on Jessop Place, which wasn't the safest street. But to be honest, if you want to live off campus, you are taking a risk. Living on campus is great but when I was there, it was a dry campus, so I opted to live off campus my Junior & Senior year. The house I lived in was robbed once (we left the door unlocked, which wasn't very smart) but other than that I didn't have any issues with my house. All in all, I would say York was a great experience, and you better believe that I will be highly recommending my children go to my Alma Mater. :)
