What an awesome place to get a fresh start. I was helped and guided the minute I walked through the door. 5 or six semesters in, I've maintained an almost 4.0 gpa, Dean's list, and the PTK. Special 5 stars for the KEYS department who have helped me in so many ways, their help, referrals, and guidance through some rough patches helped me continue to stay in school. I appreciate RACC for keeping me on track with my goals for the future!

It's a good place for an education. Don't come here expecting a University. Everyone here is kind. They're helpful. They helped me with financial aid and found solutions I hadn't thought of. The professors understand that a lot of us work and are flexible. I'm sure there are more good things to say. 😊 …

They have so many things and helps. Events with free food. Free stuff for students. Teachers most are helpful and flexible with assignments from my experience. My only issue is nothing is done with harassment reports.

There is absolutely no reason not to excel academically, professionally and personally with the abundance of resources and support services this college, it's professors and staff provide. Whatever your barriers may be, they'll find a way to help you succeed or advocate for your needs!

The RN program… at least back in 2007-2009 was all self taught. I will say no more lol

This was the last school in the world I wanted to attend, but having 3 school aged kids and a limited available schedule, I found that it was my only option. Upon enrolling I realized just how nice the school is. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and are always willing to help in any way they can. The education isn't mediocre either. I've met people that have transferred to a 4 yr. college from RACC and they told me some classes from RACC were more demanding and difficult that the ones they took in the 4 yr. college. Lastly, the cost of education at this school is very cheap, especially if you take in to consideration the quality level of education you receive while in attendance. If you're looking for a school to do minimal work just to receive a degree, this isn't the school for you (They expect you to work for your grades). However, if you're looking for a good school, with knowledgeable teachers and staff, a quality education that stands up to the rest, and tuition that doesn't cost a fortune; this school is exactly what you've been looking for! The only negative aspect I've found so far is the location... Other than that you won't be disappointed. :)

Currently in my first semester, staff, faculty, and adjunct faculty are all amazing 😃 and they are able to help you succeed. Disability services staff like Kym, Terry, and Amanda are also all amazing as well and are willing to help you if needed. This college has many majors 📚 and programs to choose from, and it is a great start to your associates degree then transfer to a four year college or university. I highly recommend 👍🏾 starting your college experience at RACC since it is a smaller campus and easier to get admitted.

This school really sucks. It is for students who have no choice but to go to that school. Almost half the campus is on some kind of academic probation. The staff is not really helpful like they say they are. Only a small percentage of professors and staff really care about the students. The school tends to make decisions with the students money and spend it, without the current students knowledge. Parking is horrible at this campus and security is very minimal. So If you are looking for a safe, secure, educational environment where people actually respect you and care about your education. This is not the place for you. The staff is as bad as Berks County's Prison.

Reading Area Community College is a great way to start your higher education. Wonderful library too. UPDATE MARCH 2019: You need to show an ID to get in the library. I went all the way up there just to turn around because my license was in the car and it was cold out. If I ever go back I'll make sure that they don't scan it. WTF, do they report to Homeland Security? They better not!
