It's Amazing and full of a large, sprawling scope if SC history. An impressive collection of primary sources of all kinds.
Quiet and good place to focus on your school away from other busy cities. There are great teachers who are willing to help you if you ask. A lot services are provided by the school to help students with their school and social work. It get boring sometimes because it is a small city but overall there are a lot of activities to do
Lotta places to get a drink. A scotch is $11 at most places so it's comparable to just about anywhere but still has that city proximity to more nuanced establishments. 8/10 location
Fantastic campus setting. First time visit and was impressed with the architecture and upkeep of the entire area. It will be a great 1st year experience for my son.
Great campus, visited for daughter's orientation. Really well done program.
As a Clemson guy this is really difficult to be honest. Facilities are good. People are good.
Traffic, "both foot and automobile" are somewhat out of sync around the university and there is a true attitude problem with the students and fac ulty believing that they own the roads. Little attention is paid to the traffic signals for pedestrians and it is a fairly unsafe place to be in general. There needs to be a stronger yet friendly police presence there.
Beautiful campus all around Columbia…
I was very pleased with the Sheraton Downtown Columbia historical landmark.
Seems like there's a lot of hidden fees that are not disclosed to the students. All the students are fairly young. And they don't know what it's like to deal with bills and It's all left upon the parents. It seems like everybody working.are not on the same page. They also made up a story about the fafsa, not being available to them, but they certainly know how to charge you, even upload a transcript.
It's definitely a Beautiful place, GORGEOUS campus, with loyal faculty, staff, professors, teachers, administrators, security, coaches, players, and a host of students with smiling faces everywhere. One of the biggest school in the state of South Carolina and most definitely one of my favorite schools.
Nice venue for volleyball plus a good home crowd
great school, great community, amazing time when i would visit sometimes.
a small University with scattered buildings. a lot of trees in one side and footpads is really nice specially near by the stadium side. we enjoyed the beautiful fall color over there. overall it's a nice experience to visit that University.
The best arena in the SEC to watch the best women's basketball team in the nation! Go Gamecocks!
I never really heard of this place until we moved to the South. Then I saw a bunch of shirts with these roosters on them. Then one day I wandered down the road to Columbia just to see what the place was like. Then I found myself on this …
Visited here with my brother in-law during a trip to Columbia, SC. Loved the nice campus & the overall atmosphere during a short drive, however, it is probably not that huge compared to lots of universities in the USA. Later we attended an …
Exceptional School that is seriously focused on its academic and athletic programs. It has a beautiful campus, and it very well may be the best in the state. It has many accommodation for students & there is constantly something to do. Now days, even during the summer since more kids are opting into staying on campus.
School is okay. Faculty is alright as far as engineering goes. But the entire school is run like a corporate fed by democrat money pushing agendas trying to milk money out of students, yet the staff treats students not as an individual, …
I got my Bachelor's in Journalism in 2009 from the University of South Carolina. My experience at USC was absolutely amazing. All of my professors were exceptional and great mentors. The Journalism program exceeded my expectations and I …
