Austin community college is not protecting the health and safety of their staff, their students and the neighboring community. There is a homeless community of about a dozen or more tents that are polluting the neighboring parks. The homeless have: Assaulted hikers in the public parks Defecate in the park Leave dirty syringes in the park Leave trash in the park Cut down trees for tinder or to clear space Set fires in the park We ask that Austin community college step up and take ownership of their own property so the neighborhood doesn't need to suffer I took a few photos of the camp, but didn't want to press forward

As a resident of the local community, I'm concerned that ACC Northridge is allowing homeless encampments all over their property. This has been ongoing throughout the entire year and continues to escalate. There are now high levels of theft and issues with aggressive dogs, creating unsafe conditions that prevent students and community members from safely accessing the campus and local parks and recreation areas. The environment is suffering from deforestation and litter. They are not doing anything about it to the detriment of the community. The college's complete inaction directly contradicts its mission statement to promote student success and community development.

The dean, Mr Jones and Mrs. Charlotte of student affairs are amazing. I was having a tough emotional time and they helped me through it and are still to this day a good support team. They are caring and go out of Thier way. I had a statistics teacher Gustavo who was the best. This is not just a school, it's a place where people care about you. Yes the building is old but it still is functional. The staff are great people.

If you like bureaucratic red tape, you'll love ACC...if you enjoy rules/regulations based on whims, with no rationale, this is the school for you...if you like to be told three different things by four different people, sign up soon...if you'd like an advisor to help you chart a course schedule - but you have to sign up for classes first and that makes sense to you - sign up! If you need to prove you didn't fake your masters degree transcript in order to be accepted to take a Spanish I class, you'll be in heaven here. Shout out to professor Garrett Oleen who tried to beat the unbeatable system this, "college" has in place - he gets the Don Quixote Award...all I got was shut out, shot down and shown the door...pitiful...

Great staff, but facilities (computer labs, bathrooms, classrooms) are in worse condition than the high school I graduated from 15 years ago. Go to Highland Campus for EVERYTHING besides class. Only vending machines for snacks, always out of water. Need to put some tuition $$$ into this place. How is it possible that a student pays the same tuition for Highland Campus as this place and receives 10% facilities?? Get your life Northridge.

Great campus. They have such an amazing photography program. The program is the third largest in the nation. The school is tucked back in a neighbor hood which makes it quiet but also a little tough to find. The campus is large and there is a ton of parking.

I've attended classes at most every campus in Austin it seems and I must say this is my favorite campus of them all. Though it may be difficult to find parking, especially at the beginning of the semester (depending on how early/late your classes are), you can be sure that you will find parking. The same can't be said about other campuses. Classes are great. I've had great professors here. Student life is always setting up fun stuff to do. Go Riverbats!

Every campus has a different process for how they do things, so you're led on a wild goose chase trying to find the right information for you. The staff are friendly, but don't have consistent answers. Everybody you talk to will tell you something different. The classes are jokes and don't prepare you for a 4 year degree. Be careful what you take here unless you're getting a certification.

Very small campus, but still great. The teachers are so nice, and the classes are pretty straight forward. (Also there are two pokestops :) I'm definitely enjoying my time here.
