I’m an alumnus of NOVA’s Loudoun Campus, and I can’t believe how poorly my daughter was treated yesterday. She scheduled an appointment to learn more about the Data Center Operations program, drove to campus with her mother, and was told on arrival that she was “too young” to discuss it and that no one had time for her—no apology, no reschedule, nothing. Prospective students—especially motivated high-schoolers—deserve respect and basic courtesy, not a cold shoulder. This experience left my family angry, disappointed, and questioning whether NOVA still lives up to the values it once instilled in me. I’ve already reached out to campus leadership demanding corrective action, and I truly hope they address this lapse so no other student is treated so dismissively.
I love this school! Really good teachers. Really friendly students. Amazing facilities! Overall 10/10!
Campus is renovated time to time. Lots of activities and courses to offer !! The buidlings are spread on a beautiful campus with small artificial pond in the middle.. Ample of parking space.
Nova will make u wanna drop out. Counselors are stupid and suggest courses that half of them would not even transfer to the college you wanna go to. You to do your own research about everything do not take nobody’s word. Reddit helped me more than the entire counseling staff has.
This is the wort college experience. The registration process was terrible. They refuse to give you any help. You have to figure it out all on your own. They would not help me get any grants or scholarships to pay for college or to further my eduction prior to this dump.I was in great disbelief as the keep hanging up on me if they fill I was asking too m many questions. The best part of this place is my English teacher. As far as self placement courses…….It is NOT self placed. All they do is give you something to read and you have to keep your fingers crossed. I am currently looking for another college to go to. Not to mention that you have to wait eight months for the nursing program to open up…..after you take your prerequisites. This two year program can end up being a four year college. Community college is cheap and this school acts like the cheaper option. I can’t wait to be out of community college and attend a university. They don’t even know answer to any questions. I have email the head of the department if i want a chance at getting any information out of these sorry people. This college is so frustrating and disappointing that they make you want to drop out. It’s not just me who feels as such. The reviews don’t lie at all.
As a potential student, why do I need to pay for parking? Why isn't there visitor parking outside of Reynolds building? You lost this customer and their money. I doubt I'm the only one turned off.
They haven't cut their rear fields in over a month, resulting in ~2ft tallgrass, which promotes an influx of things like snakes, ticks, gnats, mosquitos, etc. COVID is bad enough, I don't need an Eastern Copperhead biting my leg, Lyme Disease from a tick, or a host of other viruses/diseases from mosquitos on top of the pandemic. MOW IT ALREADY!
the place has ok education but the library is quite the vibe. the buildings are also nicely updated. i just wish there was more parking at this place there wasn't much place to park. the campus surrounds a nice lake which can be good to walk around as you are cooling down from studying. very nice place i would study here more often.
Mrs. Qammi helped me with my state in tuition applying process. She was extremely patient with us and was very nice. She is the best administrator there is. We drove all the way to Loudon campus to be seen by her because she is so awesome! Out of all the other administrators I will highly recommend you to meet with her. She was very professional and calm! If you want someone who understands your situation and empathizes with you and helps you take your time with everything, you should definitely meet with her!
Frustrating Registration Experience Northern Virginia Community College - Loudoun Campus 21200 Campus Drive, Sterling, VA 20164 I've had a disappointing experience with the registration process at NOVA Loudoun Campus. Despite multiple visits, I've faced inefficiencies and staff unawareness. I've been asked to resubmit documents multiple times, despite already providing them. The 40-minute drive each time has been wasted due to poor communication and organization. I hope the college improves their processes and staff training to avoid similar experiences for future students.
