Beautiful and friendly University! Small town deep in the farmland of Virginia.

This is a great school and so much about it has changed in the nearly 2 decades since I graduated. The campus' buildings have improved. Many of the critical buildings like the gym, library, and dining hall have been fixed up or built in the places of other buildings torn down. I used to love playing pickup soccer on Iler Field, it was a great school and place to learn.

Dorrill Dining Hall has a well-stocked salad bar and dessert selection. Most of the existing buildings on campus are pretty old, so the newer buildings, including the newer dormitories, are most welcome. The gym has an indoor track, swimming pool, and basketball court.

This school has recently erected many wonderful new buildings. They make you work long and hard to achieve your goals. You will be up cramming all night but feel very satisfied in the morning. Whenever you feel overwhelmed by Longwood, just suck it up and move on. You will graduate with a firm grasp of the curriculum and feel confident about where you're headed.

The best small-town college experience in the commonwealth. Loved my time at Longwood, cause I felt like professors legitimately knew who I was. I can walk around Farmville and still see professors who still, even 5 years later remember me, and remember me well.

Thoroughly enjoyed my years at Longwood and love it even more as an alum! There are a lot more opportunities for the students and alumni now and that is a sign of a school that is always looking to improve! Go Lancers!!!

Great academics, a beautiful rural campus and town, and a peaceful, good and friendly place. A hidden gem off the beaten trail.

Longwood is a beautiful place where the professors care about the students. There are so many organizations to be involved in, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! <3

Great school. Small classes. You will get to know your professors, especially toward your senior year. My best advice get involved.
