The school has some pros and cons. One of schools dean , professor and advisor is all one person. He is passive aggressive in my opinion. I am not sure if it was race . That was what I thought. I feel as if my professor intentionally failed me. Their communication is very bad. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I was treated very poorly and its vey hard to get communication to these people. A few of the financial aid people are nice. Outside of that dont waste your time with them please.

Although VUL is a small HBCU school, it has a great historical background. This small non-profit college should get more public funds to expand more halls. I love the DHA program. After graduating from the DHA, I realize other regional public schools in Georgia and Louisiana will recognize VUL credentials. The professors at VUL are very lovely and intelligent. My educational journey isn't finished at DHA and DBA. I'm heading to the Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies. Good luck to all who stay with VUL at the moment.

Small town, Small School, Big impact on students. This HBCU will rise to glory and continue to provide education to students in their community and online. Had an amazing time at graduation and look forward to coming back in the future to see the progress the University has made as new construction and programs are being implemented.

Great educational programs. I L💖VE Virginia University of Lynchburg. The professor's put forth great effort and its even better interacting with the class. Right now I'm working on my Bachelor's of Arts in Religious Studies, and I have only 2 more classes before I receive my Bachelor's. No lie, it's been tough raising 4 kids, working, and going to school everyday, but I received the support from fellow students and staff to get this far. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ who keeps me sustained through it all.

Can't clearly understand what's going on with the football program. They recuted a 140 kids wish they rececvied monies for tuition. These kids travel to games on school buses to all of their away games. They had listed a full schedule but have played maybe only six or seven games. The head coach hasn't been on the sideline coaching in the past few games. Have not even come close to winning a game. So does VUL have the right coaches in place.. when the program first started they got more progress out of the program with coach Bailey and Luther Palmer.. I just hope that this program is not turning into a money making thing for who all have their hands in the pot..
