Bates Technical College

I attended Bates in 2009 and earned my highschool diploma and an associates degree. Yesterday, I ran into an old friend who recently graduated from the welding program at Bates and now happens to work at the same company I am at. After catching up, he told me that he remembers me sharing my experience from Bates and how I told him I was struggling with math and almost did not graduate. He recalled that I told him one particular teacher mentored me, tutored me after class, and prepared me for the final math exam in which I passed because of her patience and relentless effort to support me and my learning challenges. He then shared of his experience and let me know that 15 years later, he had the same exact experience with that same exact teacher. I felt called to write this review because of the major impact this teacher has had on at least two people. I am so thankful for her help all these years later. If anyone gets the opportunity to attend this great school, you will be extremely pleased to have a class with Mary Ward.

It is a MISERABLE experience trying to get hold of any one and even worse someone who can actually help. If you go in person or send an email they will all tell you different things and you'll never get anyone to answer a phone.

I saw only 4 reviews on there and one that gave a 1 star review over 1 employee, which isn't fair to the instutution as a whole. So, after dealing with a handful of employees as a new student, I decided to give my own review. Everyone from Financial Aid, Admissions, Security, Enrollment and general staff I find to be highly competent, helpful, polite. They listen, don't talk over you, give solid advice and ultimately get you moving forward and fast and friendly as possible. Looking forward to finishing my Associates degree there.

Bates is a great place. Complet dentures for 950.0. Mine fit perfectly

Lexine the student counselor is rude, unhelpful and dismissive. They have made decisions about my sons school without asking us what we want to do making assumptions. Worst experience.

When I first went there I was told to accept that there's a girl who keeps talking in class and won't be moved from me and that as an adult I need to handle it I don't know what that teacher meant by I need to handle it besides me saying no let's not talk and I don't want to be your friend please leave me alone I always have an issue with a Latina in Asian or Caucasian woman in this location trying to play God with my life or an angry black male security guard

Have enjoyed my experience so far at Bates Technical College.

A school with only has one dedicated advisor For all students.

This is the single worst company/organization I have ever dealt with. If I could leave negative stars, I would.

Easy to find
