Pathfinder Director
The Area 59 staff are preparing for the 2024 International Pathfinder Camporee! We stopped here on our tour and as a Pathfinder Club Director I was excited to see that they are thinking about how they can work with our Pathfinders to make buttons (someone needs to mail them some pins!) and another project during the Camporee. It is a community maker space with amazing equipment for wood working, metal work, and laser engraving. Clean restrooms and water bottle filler too. They even gave away a couple metal water bottles with the Believe the Promise logo engraved! Wow I wish we had one of these in our area of Texas so that the Pathfinders could learn how to make useful things with their hands. We would totally use that for fundraising! They are not a fee-for-service space though due to local non-compete agreements, but if you want their help to learn how to make an idea of yours they will guide you. Anyway, Area 59 looks like a training-friendly location that many Pathfinders will really be inspired at in August 2024!

Great facility and the staff is extra tuned to their equipment. I took the CNC Plasma class and it was great. I will be coming back as a monthly member from here on out. Open to the public so networking and working beside some great people. If you haven't checked them out, you're missing out.

A marvel of technological and innovative ideas that are produced from wonderful people that are teachers. They have a shaved ice seller, they work out of a little horse trailer. Shaved ice so fine you would think it's ice cream. The most delicious sweet treat I have had in years
