The school is currently on probation and is at risk of losing its accreditation. Over winter break, all the assistant deans either quit or stepped down. The chief academic officer recently announced her resignation, and the president also stepped down during the same period. At this time, most of the leadership—including the dean of students, the president, and the chief academic officer—are serving in interim positions. The institution is overpriced and disorganized. Consider attending Sherman, Life West, New Zealand College of Chiropractic, Barcelona College of Chiropractic, or McTimoney instead.

Wait till you see the amount of loans you will come out with from chiropractic school. It’s the worst healthcare investment period. 250k loans at 7% interest with a 65k-75k job. Good luck fellow DC alumni.

Do not live here the student housing is the worst and I believe it all stems from the people managing it and the insane contract you have to sign to live there. Worst decision I made was to live at the “life student retreat”. They have cockroaches in the walls mold in the vents and the people in charge of housing are the worst don’t expect anything but spending all your money on fees or being notified last minute or not at all of changes that will effect you during school. Again do go here!!! Housing off campus is way cheaper. They lie about it being cheaper. There are way better options off campus if you look!

Not a good staff of people as they tell you. My boys went there and I had to be there advisor thru whole time there. Financial Aid watch them closely. The housing will charge students for dorm room they never access to claiming its in there housing contract which is not clearly explained to new students..and they know it. Oh yea by the charge is 2200.. I am currently working with attorneys to sue they for this and many of negligence while my students were there. Glad to say neither of them are there now. Be careful sending students here. They don't about us only care about the foreign body of students.. true facts. Check it out. Talk to other students on campus.

DC alumni, the institution continues to degenerate and the clinics have apparently become problematic for soon to graduate students. And personally, I was registered for the DC at large program four course that I then needed to drop which took me probably eight phone calls multiple hours of my time and even a trip to the school to resolve. If you are a prospective DC student, I’d recommend that you just go to Sherman.

the amount of clubs on campus is about the only good thing i have to say about it. although i absolutely love chiropractic and the select few professors that make this program tolerable, this program will test you in ways no school should. this program has been called “inhumane” but faculty and staff and that is quite true. the amount of students this program has altered mentally for the worse is not countable, and the only thing that keeps us going is each other and our love for what we do.

This is for the dietetics program, not chiropractic. Their undergrad programs are a joke. Chiropractic I cannot speak for, except for them losing their accreditation twice while I was there (in 3 years) for students cheating because they were allowed into the university with no difficulty. Unfortunately, our program had the same professors teaching multiple classes. However, they were not at the proper level of education or certified to do so. We had teachers teaching classes that required a PhD or masters.when they had nothing more than a bachelor's.and successfully to failed good students due to their lack of knowledge and inadequate information. The program itself was constantly turning over employees and there was no consistency. Do not ever go to life university for any reason. A professor held my grade as I walked across the stage for graduation. They would not release my grade until 2 months after I walked, as I sat in distress as my internship was contingent on this grade. Yet, they let me walk... after two months of emailing the Dean and the President - finally, I got my results that I passed. (My program requirements were a "B" or higher to pass) That time frame is ridiculous and it should have never taken that long or that much work to get a grade for a class AFTER graduation. Honestly, and, harshly, they're all stupid and inadequate. They play games in favoritism. I have friends who didn't play the game but can verify that they saw the games played on those who fought back. (Myself included) NEVER go here. It's an absolute joke.

I graduated with my husband from Life in Dec. 2011. It was the best experience. I was concerned initially with it being far away from home but was so excited to find that Life has it’s own community. A fun and safe place to be with like-minded people. Whether you are looking for a profession in Chiropractic, sports, nutrition or undergrad I encourage you to come visit the school during a Life Leadership weekend! Bring your parents so they can experience this happiness bubble! You will be glad you did!
