Amazing school with amazing people. I really enjoyed the five years I spent here. The school caters to Law, Agriculture and Sciences mostly. It has really good pricing and sees many out of state students because of this. If your unsure of what school to go to or do not know what you want to do I recommend going here to figure things out as you will have a blast while learning some fascinating material. The school sits only 1/4 mile from downtown Moscow which is a great place to grab a bite to eat or visit the local bike shops. It is also only a 30 minute drive from Moscow Mountain which has great mountain biking and hiking trails. The University of Idaho is a hidden gem. Don't pass it up if given the opportunity to attend.

Brought our granddaughter up her to attend the University of Idaho. GO VANDALS. There was plenty of help to get our truck unloaded, and our grandaughters items taken to her room. The volunteers couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Got to go find some Vandal gear before we leave town. Wanted to attend the family activities, but time doesnt allow that to happen. Really wanted more info. GREAT JOB TO ALL.

I drive through campus regularly to check out progress on the new basketball arena which is under construction. After the concrete work was completed, progress is going much faster. Interesting, and it is going to be very attractive. Features 100% Idaho timber.

This is about as Northwest as it gets! In a faraway, secluded corner of the US, University of Idaho offers an exceptionally gorgeous campus, a tightly knit, provincial campus life, amazing outdoor sports & recreation opportunities, opportunity to live as part of a small-town community, and - if academics is your thing - then tranquil peace and great amounts of administrative/academic support for you to study! But really - This university is really about wild spirits and the great, open country around and the magnificent mountains, brooks and rivers that snake all around! Just an amazing experience being here! It's too far away from anything of importance - Except maybe Boeing and couple of their suppliers - to be of much significance in terms of landing amazing jobs. But you can always make your own way into Silicon Valley or Amazon at Salt Lake City - If that's your thing. But the university campus life will beat it all. If you want to listen to some amazing jazz or want to engage with reservation Native Americans as they perform their traditional song and dance. Or just want to ride the white waves of the nearby Snake River and go camping in pristine, untouched mountainscapes - This place is definitely for you!

A beautiful campus serving around 11,000 students with programs ranked among the best in the nation.

Beautiful campus, close to town. Close knit community.

Why are you closing the Black and African American Cultural Center? You can still focus on individual merit while giving a space to marginalized people. Idaho just really can't get it right.

The only thing that I dislike about the University is their parking, and their Parking & Transportation Faculty...oh my they're biased and they don't give out Delivery Passes to FTV & JAMM majors, who need it more than anyone else. The Parking Lot System also make no sense; there's more faculty parking than student parking, yet they wonder why students have to park illegally. Other than that, I love this university.
