I transferred to Loyola and absolutely loved my experience there for undergrad and graduate school. The school felt safe, was filled with friendly people, and the teachers were very approachable and helpful. The library is really nice as is the rec. The business school could stand to be updated I enjoyed my teachers there. I lived right off campus and could walk or bike to class. I had debated between Tulane and Loyola but what I got from Loyola was incredibly valuable. The academic supports helped me to learn how I best learn and it gave me a lot of confidence that helped my success in life. I am forever grateful for that.
I am currently a graduate nursing student. This has been the profound educational experience I have had in my life. The professors are impeccably knowledgeable and well versed in their areas of expertise. I went back to school to become more marketable in my profession. My impending degree from Loyola will give me the confidence in my career that I am seeking along with speaking volumes to potential employers who welcome an employee with a Loyola degree..
Choosing to attend Loyola University New Orleans was the best decision that I have ever made. Here you will find that there is a true community of compassion for students. Additionally, the faculty is approachable and always willing to go the extra mile for their students. Loyola wants to see its students succeed and because of the care and compassion that we receive here, we do succeed. Thank you Loyola. Best 4 years :)
Several friends that have attended and that are currently employed at this institution of higher learning. The campus is beautiful as is everyone I have ever come in contact with while there. The City of New Orleans is a gumbo of cultures and foods it-self. Some of the best cafes are within walking distance of the campus and you will by no means be disappointed.
I loved going to Loyola. Small university so you really get to know your classmates. Some advisors are really helpful in pointing you in the right direction. Don't be afraid to seek them out if your assigned one isn't a good fit for you. I learned a lot from this university, and I grew as a person as well.
Recently went here on a tour. Place was disgusting. Ask to see the dorms, they are a nightmare. Really intimidating guys playing super loud music rap music was the vibe. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
The administration will not work with you if you need help. The students and professors are amazing and the city is beautiful. However, Loyola tends to loose half of their students because they are not willing to work with students who need help financially.
A beautiful school with tons of amazing History located on st-charles Street, you can take the streetcar wherever you need to go from or to the school. And there's tons of History to be found in the Halls.
Beautiful and historical campus!!
