My Daughter goes there. She is happy. So I'm very happy too. I'm so proud of you girl. The best children a mother could ever ask for. My daughter 25y and my son 21y. Thank you God for not letting the shooter shoot September 3rd 2025. Thank you, Lord God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirits. May the Lord's will be done on Earth and in Heaven. Amen. 🙏🏾🫶🏿♾️

This is a nice, moderately-sized campus that is pleasant to explore if you are in Lowell. It has enough of an open feel to seem like you're taking a leisurely stroll while milling about. The architecture is nice enough given that it is a campus that is not as old as many. That is especially true amongst those institutions of higher learning in New England. The Saab Emerging Technologies and Innovation Building is a highlight, which is visible to your left as you cross the river into campus. Cumnock Hall with its columned front is another. Though I did not have time to take advantage of it, there is an Art Gallery on campus for those with such proclivities. The campus is not worth going out of your way to see, but if you happen to be in Lowell anyway...why not? There is a Starbucks on campus and a Dunkin across the street on the north end to reward you with a coffee and treat for your trouble.

This insitution, law enforcement, and specically JULIE CHEN handled this emergency situation on south campus terribly. I don't feel safe having to attend class in person and I don't feel safe being an on campus student right now in general! Don't send your kids here. Sure some programs here are good and are getting recognized, but none of that matters over your life and safety

I was at WUML, Lowell Universities radio station. My husband does a Blues show from 3pm- 6pm, on Saturday. The station is 91.5 FM.

This school is incredible one of my family went here absolutely excellent experience. Honestly better than any school either of us have ever dealt with. There were definitely issues here there but for the first time they were actually dealt with head-on and directly. The school really cares about maintaining it's quality and the experience for students. it's rare to see such a dry for change and growth at the school and you wouldn't expect to find in Lowell but it is well worth attending.

I was a double major music and psych UMASS Lowell. The music program was the most TOXIC environment EVER. Professors regularly failed music students in order to harrass their colleagues. I dropped out out of performance because I was bullied and humiliated during class by a professor, which led me to drop out of performance major. And when I did my guitar teacher took it personally and then pursued me for years afterwards making sure to ruin every opportunity for me to perform on my instrument. I was invited to join a trio and he threatened to ruin the trio's reputation if they worked with me. Ultimately they said making that person mad was not worth it. My experience was horrible, and I couldn't do anything about it because i had no family and no money. I was in school thanks to governent programs intended to help people with no resources. UMass did not 'lift me up,' -- quite the opposite. I left Lowell and continued my education elsewhere and was quite thankful for doing so. 5 years after leaving the institution I received a phone call from UMass demanding money -- can you imagine? I was homeless just before starting there and lived off of food stamps and federal assistance while is school -- yeah, they felt like THEY got the short end LOL. Bottom line - This institution is a heaping morass of garbage, if you are a bully or a troll you will get along fine. Otherwise, go to Lowell, you'll get an education alright.

The student advising needs a lot of improvement. I had three separate advisers over three years, never met one of them. Otherwise this is a great school; great location, accessible, and state-of-the-art facilities/technology. As for academics I felt that I absolutely benefited, from my professors, in fact i found that the quality of learning I had from some adjunct professors was equal to if not better than some of the full-time faculty. Seemingly limitless resources, UMASS Lowell is a diverse, up and coming school in the North East and is constantly growing in excellence. There's opportunity for everyone at this school should they be willing to seek it. I'm proud to say i was a part of it. And i hear the Hockey team is alright also.

UMass Lowell has a great AACSB accredited MBA program at its Manning School of Business. Small (14 to 1) classes with a really dedicated and caring faculty, great Division I sports program, all the latest infrastructure upgrades and new buildings is contributing a lot to its glowing popularity in recent years. I hope the school can keep up with its growing enrollment.

Very chill university with overall great friendly professors and small (20ish person classes). Only had to take 1 large lecture style class in 4 years at this school.

“Ready for GOOD FOOD ” Now this is the place to eat when you want something different. WHOLESOME. Tasty. Life Alive is a very interesting shop. The environment makes the eating experience. Come to Lowell and experience to GOOD FOOD.

If you're coming in as a high school student or transfer, good luck. If you're looking to know exactly what classes you should be taking, than orientation is rather uninformative. They do not print out the list of classes from their online …

UMass Lowell pushes you hard to do best in a competitive but welcoming and supportive environment! So many amazing scholars, and fantastic opportunities for graduate students! So glad to be here!

Thought I would hate it here - boy, was I dead wrong. UML is one of the best things that's ever happened to me. Plenty of activities and clubs on-campus, and I'm always keeping myself busy. The new dorms are amazing, too.

Why are the bathroom stall gaps so wide ? I've never been so uncomfortable using a public restroom. When you go into the stall, you have a clear view of the bathroom.. and there are wide gaps in between stalls as well. You can't trust that strangers will have good intentions.

Wonderful university. I visited the UML radiation research facility. What a wonderful jewel for my city. World class research.

Transferred in as a junior. All teachers so far have been great, helpful, and responsive via. email. They have co-op and are much cheaper than Northeastern and MIT.

University of Massachusetts—Lowell is a public institution that was founded in 1894.It utilizes a semester based academic calendar. Great location and a nice diversified environment.

It was awesome. The students there are looking sharp and bright. It's an early get away start in your schooling years exam.
