My experience at Research College of Nursing has been incredibly positive. The school is well-organized, and the entire academic system is both professional and supportive. One of the aspects I appreciate most is the dedication of the faculty and tutors, who are always willing to help when students face challenges. I personally struggled in my mental health nursing course, which had only three major exams to determine the final grade. After receiving a low score on the first exam, I felt overwhelmed and discouraged. However, when I reached out to my instructor, they encouraged me, helped me refocus, and reminded me of my potential. Thanks to that motivation and support, I worked hard and ended up earning an A in the class. That experience showed me how vital encouragement is in nursing school, and it’s one of the many reasons I value this program. The staff genuinely care about student success, and that makes all the difference. I highly recommend Research College of Nursing to anyone who is passionate about becoming a nurse.
I am a current student at Research and I am absolutely obsessed with how welcoming the environment is. The professors are all wonderful at their job and pleasant to talk to. All of the Admin are very nice and genuinely care that every single student has a great nursing school experience.
I love this school! The teachers and staff have been very welcoming since day one. I feel they care about your success and go above and beyond to help you get there. I've made good friends which I am very grateful for. I am thankful that I chose to come here!
My time at Research College of Nursing has been nothing short of great. It was a daunting leap to take into the healthcare field, but the staff at RCoN are truly the best. They are with us every step of the way if we need help. The amount of support and resources available to us as students makes all the difference. No program can be 110% flawless, but Research really tries their best for us. All of the professors I have experienced so far really care about our learning and show up for us however we need them to. It has been amazing getting to know everyone here and building a huge RCoN family. Big shout out to the seniors as well, there have been so many kind hearted seniors who have reached out and gave priceless tips and advice to us all as well. My goal is to be that for the next round of juniors coming into RCoN!
Found out about RCoN while I was still in high school and I was set on going ever since then. I have completed one full semester of schooling and can’t wait for the semester to start back up! The atmosphere is so positive and I genuinely feel like I belong there. Classes are organized in a way that enhances learning and promotes nothing but the best for students!
I applied to the Accelerated Program class of 2025 to earn a nursing degree in a year. I was also drawn to HCA’s Work-Loan Forgiveness Scholarship, which pays for 75% of tuition if I work for any HCA hospital for two years. Its location in Kansas City made it an obvious choice. The school exceeded my expectations in preparing me for nursing. The small school size allows for an intimate cohort and a strong student-faculty relationship. Professors are incredibly kind and generous in their willingness to help students succeed. Each faculty member, clinical rotation, course, and lecture is essential to RCoN’s goal of educating nurses, developing leaders, and caring for communities. They empower nurses through nursing excellence. My personal experience at RCoN has allowed me to fall in love with nursing. The faculty’s encouragement in applying my knowledge has empowered me to be confident on and off the hospital floor. All these factors make the Research College of Nursing truly great.
Decided to enroll in the accelerated program because I’d heard so many good things about the school. It definitely lives up to the hype. Not every course feels great, but everyone feels invested in our success. The instruction is great, but the faculty is what sets the school apart.
Research College of Nursing is such a welcoming environment. Since it is a small school, faculty and staff really get to know and care about you. The faculty and staff are excellent and committed to student success!
I'm a Nigerian currently doing my ABSN in Research College of Nursing (RCoN). When I arrived US and decided to pursue a career in nursing, I researched through many schools of nursing, looking for the best. I picked a couple of schools and attended their campus tour. After that, I saw the difference, and made up my mind to chose RCoN out of the lot. To be candid, RCoN has surpassed my expectations. From the safe and inclusive classroom, to dedicated and knowledgeable faculty, as well as the state-of-the-art facilities and resources. The 75% loan forgiveness program from the HCA, the supportive, understanding, and willing-to-help staff have really endeared the College to all who stepped their feet into the program. I would highly recommend Research College of Nursing, Kansas City to anyone looking for a top-notch education and an unforgettable experiences.
Research College of Nursing shines with its small college environment. Faculty and staff are committed to student success, ensuring a nurturing and effective learning environment. If you want a clear, helpful, and personal nursing education, Research College of Nursing's small size and caring staff are big pluses.
