This is an absolutely beautiful campus! I have nothing but good things to say about this University. All the staff and student guides were amazing. JMU offers a wide variety of courses and has a 90% retention rate of returning students. Higher than any other college in Virginia

Both my kids had options to go to other schools. They both chose JMU and they are flourishing! Big reason is Dr. Tim Miller. His support of students is legendary!

My vocational college is not far from JMU, and my family took a self tour of the campus a little bit since we were in Harrisonburg. After they picked me up from the vocational college, we self toured the campus and I loved it! I want to apply there in the future!! Highly recommended for a tour of the campus!!!! 💜💛💜💛 I have some friends who goes there, an acquaintance, and a childhood friend who graduated from there!! I also know a lot of people who goes there, so this is one of the universities that I know that most people go to!!!

My son goes to this University and enjoys everything about it. Great food options and class offerings. Lots of great activities to engage students.

James Madison University is a pretty chill school overall there’s a lot of good academics. It’s a large school so you’ve always got stuff to do. The dorms are relatively nice if you live on East campus the food is good. Something that is less ideal is the need to join a club for any social interaction/sorority or fraternity. Overall can’t complain though it’s pretty nice here.

Very nice school. Lots for students to do and be involved in. The school cares about 5he students and provides opportunities for them to excel. Also, lots of school spirit.
