Brookdale was very hospitable and the Power Summit was very powerful, informative and extremely educational. The hosts served breakfast and lunch. Great day.
Overall, it’s a good school with strong academics and helpful resources. However, the advising office leaves much to be desired. Walk-ins are often met with attitude, and it sometimes feels like you're bothering them just by asking a simple question. For the amount of money students pay, it’s frustrating to deal with staff who come off as unmotivated or indifferent—it gives the impression you’re dealing with poor-quality employees who aren’t invested in your success.
In all honesty this school saved my life & reinforced my inner strength. Although I had to move far from the area to take care of family obligations, I'd come back here & attend classes immediately, like yesterday. My instructors were so adroit & took their positions as well as the students with the absolute seriousness. I attended classes both on & off of the campus, unlike one school, I always felt safe here. Brookdale provided not just an education but several valuable resources both before & after graduation. I highly recommend this institution to many people in the Monmouth county area (& beyond over the years) & will continue to do so. All of whom were equally satisfied with their experience at Brookdale. Thank you so much for having my back & expanding my mind, I'm eternally grateful
I love Brookdale I graduated from there.. so many memories.. before my brother passed we danced the night away! I will always be greatful to Brookdale class of 2010
Great workshop. We lost power a couple of times, but the facility manager resolved the issue immediately! E

Nice art and kids museum. We spend two hours there with the grandkids. Fun play area and arts and crafts center.
I completed 2 years at Brookdale before transferring to Monmouth University to finish my Bachelor’s degree. I was part of the Elementary Education program here and loved it! All of the professors were wonderful and I especially enjoyed Dr. Raj’s Educational Psychology class. I ended up double-majoring at Monmouth University before deciding to pursue English as my primary major. I now work in Marketing, but credit my experience at Brookdale for helping me rediscover my passion for writing. My advice for students: Take advantage of the free resources on campus. The writing and math centers are a great help for many, and the student-run clubs offer additional opportunities to connect and meet new people. The professors want you to succeed, so, do your best, ask questions, and you will go far.
Teachers aren’t the greatest I’ve only liked 4 teachers out of almost 2 years of being here. I am on my own teaching myself calculus one of the harder maths and it’s not good. Students in the class are correcting her on many things since they had previously taken calc in highschool. When I had my philosophy class, I had a question during break to ask my professor and her answer was to me “ I have to go eat my M&Ms so you can email me” unprofessional and I had to go to the writing and reading center to help me and they couldn’t understand the material since it was so hard and I couldn’t ask my teacher. Also, one out of my 2 advisors has recommended me wrong class to take and took bio for no reason wasting my time, money, and effort that needed to be put elsewhere into a class I didn’t need. Barely made solid friends and had an experience where I was followed and filed a report. The amenities such as math lab are great and I’ve had one amazing education professor Christy DeVito I recommend her class to everyone majoring in education! I am going for secondary math education she was the best teacher for her class that covered a lot of material that was important for future to know. Please take Michael Nolan and Daniel Lopez for math they are awesome for the higher maths! I enjoyed their class. Also Professor Johnathan Moschberger is amazing he is also a reason why I take big pride in my honors program and currently in his class he loves to hear your voice and lets us get out in the real world and find out for ourselves which I loved! Leaving in spring since the results weren’t what I expected.
The cafeteria is absolutely shit I ate a uncooked cheeseburger with moldy cheese what the hell I do not recommend this school
