Beautiful Campus. A lot larger than I had expected prior to our visit. All the buildings pathways and some of the roads even are gorgeous bricks. The grounds are well maintained and landscaped. The lecture halls are a nice size. Everything seems well kept. Dorms are nice. Room sizes are pretty small but pretty standard in comparison. I had stayed in Jefferson Hall during orientation the dorm room I had was a double with built in drawers and small area to hang clothes. 2 built in desks. Microwave and mini fridge. The cots or beds if you want to call them that are these sort of camp style and they are extremely tall. I had to use a chair to get into the bed. I'm only 5'4" but still ridiculously high up. Also I would highly recommend if you have a student going purchase a really thick good mattress pad. As sleeping on that thing felt like a spring loaded rock. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Showers have glass doors that shut for privacy.

First time visiting, Our son had a scheduled visit for the college campus, and it was amazing. We absolutely loved it,...felt very comfortable and they made you feel like home. 2 stars. I attended Ohio University from 2015 to 2019, and those years were truly the best of my life. Back then, the campus felt like a second home…a place where we felt safe, supported, and celebrated for who we are. Today, that home feels unfamiliar. The decision to cut DEI programs and close the Multicultural Center, the Women’s Center, and other vital spaces is not just disappointing…it’s heartbreaking. These centers weren’t just buildings; they were lifelines, safe havens, and sources of empowerment for so many students. Their absence leaves a profound void in the community. To current and future students: I see you. I believe in you. Your voice is powerful, and your presence matters. Keep speaking up. Keep fighting for what’s right. What kind of system do they have here? Why is there no parking for each individual bed in the dorms→ near that dorm hall? Why must students fight to the death for your limited permit parking? Then when they are all gone, they have to go searching for one spot that's not in the next county? Your supposed website is not up to date either. So nobody can rely on that. Then you call this/that person and you get tossed around. I don't want my daughter in danger walking 45 minutes to get back to her dorm when she comes back from any school break/store run/outing. Especially if it's at night and you are requesting no weapons. Is it profit over people in this school?

Wonderful University Campus - full national bus chain stop. Plenty of security and amenities when open, public access is available with special needs considered including parking. Friendly atmosphere that's clean, green, wrapped in natural beauty, wifi signal and other tech amenities are great and available 24/7. Sports-💯% …

Such a beautiful campus; it really is it's own little slice of Ohio. It's somewhat secluded with no other major cities around, but there's so much to do on campus that there really isn't a need to travel too far from campus. I came here for my MBA and I wish I would have gone here for my undergraduate.

It's the most beautiful campus in the US! The oldest university in Ohio (1804). The oldest university west of the Appalachian Mountains. It's simply hOUme.

Terrible school. Will call you about their online program nonstop everyday during the pandemic, then tell you years later its very competitive, discouraging you to apply. Only care about enrollment numbers not on overall merit.
