I am a graduate of Corban University (Western Baptist College when I attended). I am so impressed with how the school continues to equip our young men and women for ministry in whatever career they pursue. What an amazing faculty and staff!
Great school! Beautiful campus.
I graduated in 2008 and had a really great experience. A lot has changed, but from everything I've observed and heard, they're constantly striving for improvement. Their change is in pursuit of Christ for the benefit of the students. I would definitely send my kids here if they want to go! :-)
(EDIT BELOW) 2018 review: The school is wonderfully staffed and has a beautiful campus. I am glad to be attending the school and building relationships with some of the most kind and caring people I have ever met. I most definitely will continue to recommend this school to any Christian who wants a biblically based quality education. EDIT: I went here! Graduated and everything! NOT a great place to be if you're gay lol BUT I met the love of my life, so gotta give 'em a couple stars. Y'know how it is. <3
Amazing people and atmosphere! Many memories have been made here! Come to Corban for an amazing experience! I would encourage any student to consider Corban. You will grow, meet the best people you will ever meet, and forever have many memories left at this place. Corban, I am coming back!
Some of the professors can be unnecessarily rude towards their students. A few of my professors have been understanding and helpful. This does not make up for the harsh treatment other professors give. I just don’t understand the treatment when I’m going to be paying for the college experience, and the professors are getting paid. If I were to fail then that would be on me.
Looking back, I realize I could not have asked for a better place to learn and grow as an undergraduate student. Would happily and highly recommend.
Okay school. Not the best support system and most teachers don’t reflect genuine concern for students. Most students are somewhat young and not many older people for those who are in upper 20s. Friendly people but not completely genuine. Food isn’t the best quality either.
Great teachers challenging material they banned a really great Pastor from speaking just from teaching from the Bible and they keep bringing in speakers who are super left-leaning which is great cuz it adds to the conversation but they could mix it up a bit and have more open minds it's on its way to going secular and prohibiting free expression
Corban University is a gem for the Willamette Valley. From academia, athletics and providing real life experience through travel abroad. We are lucky it is so close by.
