Trinity Valley Community College

Overview

Trinity Valley Community College has come a long way since classes first began in borrowed space during the fall of 1946. The college now serves more than 6,500 students at campuses in Athens, Palestine, Terrell and Kaufman. Today, students don't even need to be in the classroom to complete coursework. Many are opting to enroll in Internet-based classes, and TVCC have become a leading provider of classes through the Virtual College of Texas. In addition, classrooms equipped for video conferencing allow the college to have classes simultaneously on two different campuses or even at area high schools and universities.

The aging staff can’t seem to figure things out in order to get people enrolled. This place isn’t Harvard, it shouldn’t be this hard to get in. I’d give less stars if I could. 0/10, just go to TJC. …

The staff are very helpful & kind. I’ve only had one poor experience with an instructor. But you can tell the professors really care about their students and make themselves available.
