Seattle Maritime Academy

Not friendly to the community! Someone claiming to be staff at this facility has been verbally acosting people for parking in "her" parking- public parking! Also filing false police reports, hate speech about homeless, etc. Glad that a place of learning cares so much for the less fortunate.

I'm not quite all the way through the program but close, and I gotta say this place is fantastic. Very very fun, very very informative. I've spent time at three different schools post high school and this is far and away the best experience I've had.

We have been trying to speak with someone about enrollment. No one reterns our calls. This is extremely frustrating as the course my son needs to be enrolled in starts next week. It would seem this school doesn't want new students. They have spent a lot of money on this school. The next step should be, is to hire an efficient staff. That would actually return people's calls.

Fantastic instructors at the facility! Everybody here is very friendly and Barbara does a super job assisting students and answering any maritime related questions you have. A great place to get you started in the maritime industry!

One of the best career moves you can make is going to this school. In order to succeed in the marine trades you need to be in good health, reasonably smart, persistent and responsible. Given that this school can provide you with the opportunity and information you need to start. P. Stan engineer

Very responsive and courteous admissions staff. The admissions information nights are very helpful in learning about the programs offered.

I did not attend this academy. But it looks nice. If I wanted to be a seaman, this is probably be where I would start.
