I started classes here, my advisor Quit Was not notified had no way of reaching out financial aid was not helpful. Still waiting to get textbooks. They’re only answer is I’m sorry that was the beginning of the semester we were dealing with that no one told me what I was missing to complete financial aid even though I had called them daily. Never got a return phone call. I’m behind in classes due to no textbooks. Still waiting on financial aid can’t get through to the new advisor, can’t get answers to any thing that I need. I get the runaround or a voicemail. Would not recommend the school especially if you have a busy schedule I need to do online classes.

Not a fan of this place but sadly do not have many options in my area staff say they are always there yet when you need them seem to be nowhere to be seen I called numerous times and non stop to a woman named Kim Ford she would never answer an I couldn't get a hold of anyone she was very rude an when I tried to drop the class felt like she was bullying me an teasing me for the reason she took a private matter an made it into a joke as I read her notes she sent to the other staff who work there. I felt embarrassed and violated that she would turn a private matter into a joke...and I also thought it was very convenient for her to finally answer her phone after the time was up that I would be charged for dropping the class...she is very uptight snarky and has a giant ego. The other staff seemed to be ok so no problems but they just seem annoyed to help you

Professors and Assistant professors always want you to succeed. The financial aid office will do whatever they can to help you when you ask. There is always something fun happening on campus. The best part are stress dogs during finals week!! It is a great place to take classes to transfer to other colleges.

Dealing with the staff here is difficult sometimes. I was supposed to start this past fall semester, and was told for three months via email that I was ready to go and that all I need to do was come down and register for my classes. I ended up waiting until the last day (which is my part of the fault in this, I should've gone sooneer) to go down to register for my classes. I sit and wait for two and a half hours, which I understand, they were busy. Then I get back to the advisor and she tells me there is a $20 transcript review fee that I haven't paid, and that because the registrar left a half hour ago while I was in the waiting room, I now could either pay my tuition out of pocket, or not go, even though I had the $20 for the fee in my hand. I was agitated to say the least.

I use to take college classes here. Probably the best to start college if not ready for the big campus experience. You can use the Marshall Rec Center for free if you become a Beacon Student. The have a math lab and computer lab if need to finish some class work.

The best enviroment for learning, one on one tutoring, and in my opinion the staff is absolutely wonderful and 100% caring. Best place to earn an associates degree hands down!!!
