Great school plenty of parking and a very open feel to the campus.
If you want to attend a school that has small class sizes, and can have a one on one with your professor's this is the school for you. The Architecture program is difficult but very well rounded. The program doesn't solely focus on design or structure. The assignments seem to focus more on how you develop your ideas and how to expand on those ideas for later projects. Overall an excellent place to receive a good education.
Not my real name, since I don't want this school contacting me. I am speaking from my mind, from my own experiences. This school does have some friendly students and staff, but it is overpriced for the education you are receiving. I got a scholarship here, but had to withdraw since I found out the level of education I would be receiving. Not worth it. Yes there are staff and students who are not friendly. Some even fake to me. But education comes first and I will not settle for less. It is not a huge party school, and does not have sports. It is more of a place for (not being rude, being realistic) high school outcasts, to put it this way. Wish someone told me of this. The library does look pretty. But during the 10 hour orientation, the tour guides were rude and bossy. Small campus too, not a lot of food choices. If you want to know what you are getting out of here, look up the notable alumni. Who are those people? Yes, we have never heard of them. So not the place to go if you want to pursue acting, music, fashion, or film production/entertainment. Speaking from my side of the view, so don't get offended.
I recently published a book and two months ago I called this library and asked if they would accept it as a donation. The book is about someone who liked Burbank. The librarian said yes, send it and she gave me the address. I went to UPS where the employee told me the address was listed as "Permanently Closed". I called from UPS and no-one answered. I went ahead and sent the book and paid for confirmation of reception. The package was delivered and signed for and logged by UPS. Months later I called the library and was told "yeah, sorry" they never received my package. If you deal with libraries often this is the absolute worst kind to deal with -- I still don't know if a library is even there because it's in a closed-off area and could be people squatting a building. I don't recommend dealing with these people at all.
Great classes, teachers and results - interesting subjects. If I could I would go back and take more classes. Results driven. Very sound foundation, with practical life skills and achievable goals - I had some great teachers and still have life long friends. I don't know if this is still the case, but the studentbody was very diverse with all types of nationalities and ethnic groups - culturally very dynamic and interesting - New campus! Please stay away parents and students! Although the school prides themselves on being diverse, willing to help students in any way, and offering one of best college experiences, that is something you will not receive here. I was given the opportunity to attend this school for over 3 years. During that time I was able to work toward an education that I would use to better my life in the future. I will admit, I was sold on the experience and environment. That was completely changed toward my 3rd year at Woodbury when I faced a financial issue with the school. As a result, the school in no way illustrated or empathized with my situation. It was as if they didn't care because I already put 3 years into the school. Of course, that didn't matter because of how much money the school got from me within those 3 years. My effort to try to get people at this school to help was extremely exhausting. Almost every department that I sought help from referred me to another department. It eventually became an ongoing loop with this school. The worst thing I can take away from this was how close I was to finishing. Yet, that didn't matter to this school. Consequently, I will say the same thing I said in the beginning. Please stay away parents and students. This school only cares about you getting in and spending money. They will not make no effort to keep you there or push for you to finish.
I can not deal with this university anymore, I am done. Emails to them take has taken one week (and counting) to respond, and when I called to withdraw, my decision was not respected, in fact, I received negativity and sarcasm (from a particular staff). You guys should be more professional when speaking to people, and treat them with respect. Common sense. Reply in a timely manner. I was talked to with negativity and sarcasm, which took me by surprise, considering the 4.7/5 review. I am not wasting my hard-earned money on this so called "outstanding" school, where I am surrounded by narrow-minded, selfish individuals. Please learn to treat people with respect before you expect them to attend this college.
Woodbury University is a Horrible place, the worst school ever. Many of the instructors have poor qualifications, vindictive and non supportive . they are out to get you and they want you to fail. The staff are rude, unprofessional, vulgar and racist. It is a small campus, probably smaller than the high school you went to, and everything that happened at high school happens here: cliques, bullying, favoritism. I regret myself for wasting my time and money to go to that hell ...
They recently helped me complete my taxes through Vita and they were very helpful and efficient. Very pleased with their services and would recommend highly
Had wonderful academic program for adults completing their undergrad or graduate degrees.
