One of the most beautiful college campuses I have ever been on. It is lush with lots of large old trees and very walkable and dog friendly. So many neat peaceful areas to relax and take in the scenery and lots of picnic areas. The architecture of the turn of the century buildings is aesthetically appealing and welcoming. Lots of history like an old observatory. It is a short walk from Claremont Villiage.
Beautiful campus and very clean unlike most parts of LA. Great spot and prime location for Claremont, CA. Historic place as well, and it has many nice parts. Some buildings are historic too. Walking distance, few blocks away to Claremont village and basically you can walk to all shops and restaurants. Very pleasant atmosphere around the campus and easy to navigate.
Great school that provides a quality education. Beautiful campus with a supportive staff!
Visited our friend's graduation on May 13, 2018. It was a very special event, very well organized!!!
Pomona College is in an extremely beautiful setting with a small town feel. The campus itself is surrounded by very nicely maintained middle to upper middle class homes. The area is very walkable with lots of tree lined streets. The college itself is just a wonderful top quality institute with professors dedicated to helping each and every student achieve their educational goals.
This school was so beautiful and it absolutely took my breath away. We only came to visit the museum (which was also stunning and the staff was great) butwe stayed the look around the campus and I just loved it here. The amazing architecture, the beautiful trees, the cute little creatures. I loved it all. Unfortunately for me, I can't afford to go here. That's honestly the only flaw I have. Otherwise, I would loved to attend.
I can't imagine my life without the skills, abilities, and perspective that I gained during my years at Pomona. A faculty that was brilliant, challenging, AND accessible. A student population that was diverse, intense, accomplished, and frivolous. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to attend such a distinguished and intellectually exciting academic environment.
Pomona has a strong claim to offering the best undergraduate liberal arts education of any college or university in the world. Practically no other institution can offer its students as many resources (thanks largely to the 7C consortium, its massive endowment, and its excellent location) while still maintaining the level of individual attention and sense of community characteristic of small colleges. The campus culture is exceptionally supportive, collaborative, inclusive, open, and in general healthy compared to other elite schools with which I am familiar. That's not even to mention the great food, dorms, campus, weather, and other quality of life factors. Of course, like every other college, it isn't perfect and will be a better fit for some than others, but in a general sense, the educational experience it offers is, to the best of my knowledge, essentially unparalleled. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
A wonderful day here enjoying my sister-in-law's commencement! Pomona is one of the country's premier liberal arts colleges. I'm impressed with the quality of the education students get here.
College is closed but you can walk around the buildings sit in the benches have a real quiet time, under the trees, meditate look at buildings and admire the different architectural designs. I really enjoyed the walk around Pomona College. Besides there is a farmers market taking place at Claremont downtown 2 blocks west of Pomona College.
Both of our sons have attended. My husband and I have never experienced a happier or closer group of students than we have been privileged to know at Pomona. All four of us believe that it is the best place on earth to attend college.
Top tier educational opportunities, especially in life sciences, economics, languages, and the liberal arts disciplines. Unrivaled camaraderie among students, unbeatable social scene on campus between the 5 colleges, and year-round summer …
Beautiful campus, nice people, full of vibrant life and presten nature. Recommend walking for nice a walk, with cute little down town to explore.
The required shoe policy really went against my feel good vibes. Claremont residents took me on their midnight candle-lit vigil, and I lost myself in Satan and the fried bananas that Jerry brought. It was awful. …
Pomona has a GORGEOUS campus, with that: "self-contained small college town suburban campus" feeling within the larger urban area of Los Angeles.I have family in Pasadena and Brentwood, so if I had gone to Pomona even being from back east I …
I went to visit this college on Thursday and I loved the campus, the architecture of the building, the environment was great! It really seemed like the students loved their time spent there.
$50k for online courses. Harvard of the Inland Empire is unlikely worth the exorbitant cost. Get the same course online for free. No degree you say? Sure but no debt either. If you can't turn that free knowledge into income, how is the debt …
Our daughter attends Pomona, in her third year. It is great beyond all expectations. Could go on for hours about our amazement with it. No better place in the world for her.

Beautiful campus. Large trees throughout, green grass. Very serene. Not very many people around.
